Rosé in this context is so stunning and I'm so glad she did these performances because they really showcase how amazing of a vocalist she is!! Sometimes I feel like Blackpink songs don't do the best job displaying her talent, but these stripped down performances really do the MOST for her.

They don't practice much for their performances. They are also running a seaside bar so it could be easy for them to forget some lyrics etc. She did multiple performances and so did the rest of the cast that you saw dancing while she was singing. The cast is full of actors/actresses and musicians.

The cast covers songs but doesn't get much time to rehearse what they're going to cover so I assume that's the reason for the music stands. Rosé seems to be much more comfortable referring to lyrics.

They also play multiple songs/ collabs and there is no set order who will perform cause at the same time they run that seaside resto
Rose for days!
It's a weekly TV show where they have different musical guests come on the show to work at a seaside restaurant and perform. They perform multiple songs each week/day so they don't have much time to practice. Most of the songs they perform are covers of other artists so it's hard to memorize everything in that short amount of time. The cycle is ongoing with new/different songs every week. It's not a practice for months for a one night performance.

Music stands were there because they were covering different artists’ songs including John Mayer Slow Dancing In Burning Room, for which JM gifted her a pink PRS guitar and called her performance “gorgeous”.
You guys should also check out Rosé's 'The Only Exception'(by Paramore) and 'Read My Mind'(by The Killers) live performance(on Sea Of Hope JTBC). Thx.
Sea of Hope is a weekly show, there may be one or many Musicians and/or singers at one time. AND except for "Gone" she didn't sing any of her own or BP material.
Covers appear to be the norm, so the stands are there for Lyrics and music. They are not doing a set, they are not really doing much/any practicing. And except for Rose, for most English is not their first language.
What you like about it being "Casual", is the point.
You should see them do Alicia Keys, Rose is reading the Lyrics and nails it. Amazing woman

I watch these Rosie Sea Of Hope videos over and over. At one point the host (the guy with the hair, you admired!) says Rosie is a "free spirit." That's so true of all the BP members. We need free spirits. You guys are like that too. Keep being free and spirited... PS: The concept of SOH is that the musicians turn up and have no idea what they will be doing... Hence the music stands and reading the lyrics from the internet... Don't be hung up on trivial stuff... It's a jam, not a "professional performance."

I agree and totally get that the music stands aren't appealing, haha, I think the stands are for the other songs they're singing and performing too, because aside from Gone which is her own, she sang some covers of others' as well.
Why are you so hung up on music stands lol. If you understood the concept of the show then maybe you would understand why they are there. When they cover Alicia Keys song, Rosé has to call up the lyrics on her phone - these performances are just casual, mostly covers, not a concert rehearsed for weeks.
And what blows me away is that Rose is reading the lyrics... She is Amazing

Andrea, just a thought... perhaps you could permanently set up a music stand directly in front of Sean's head. It'd be an instant aesthetic upgrade.

I mainly come to these "reaction" videos to listen to you two! Sorry but sometimes I'm not that attracted to the one you are reacting too because they don't impress me that much......but Andrea and Sean always crack me up!! I love the way you two interact with each other....that is to say you are always interrupting each other but neither of you seems to be upset or offended by it.... it is just totally fun for me to watch it. Also your reactions are always so real and genuine (so rare in this day and age). And finally, Andrea is beautiful...period!
