Next up on the travel schedule! May 10: Lodge Championship Series Main Event! thelodgepokerclub.com/lcs/ May 19th: MUG at WPT Gardens Poker Championship! bit.ly/WPT-Upcoming Ok so how would you have played the AA hand?
Nice vlog as usual. If its not too much work editing wise, I would suggest censoring your equity/the outs when heads up on the screen if you're going to censor the other players cards. I like the idea of playing blind with you but without those its not really blind.
If you can figure out what 3 other players have in real-time without pausing to figure it out just based on one players percentage you must be Poker God
@@tanthony298but it’s not about figuring exact hole cards. it’s fun to follow andrew’s thought process not knowing if you’re ahead or behind and the equity% gives that away
Andrew, , little feedback on your graphics: when u hide your opponents hole cards, make sure to also hide the Equity percentage next to your cards, otherwise it defeats the purpose as one will know their approximate hands anyway.
Dude I love the vids! Just wanna say the blurred out cards are totally cool just make sure u blur the percentages and check marks next to the hands. Love your stuff!
Most definitely a nice vlog. I saw some of this live as Brad was wolfing down that mountain of rice. The AA hand was special and I liked the QQ, along with a number of others. Congrats Andrew. Well played. 👍 Oh, I was about to hit the send button then remembered to add that your calling out the hand numbers was a nice touch. 👌
Congrats on the win and the awesome breakdown of it Andrew! You are definitely challenging yourself playing at stakes this high and I'm sure the reward for you is growth! Always the best to you in your life's journey!
Question. Wouldn’t playing “normal“ poker during the nit game be better EV than trying to play crazy? If you owe 2100 to the table if you are last with the button wouldn’t that 2100 be worth it to not put yourself in negative EV situations? And that’s assuming you lose the nit game every time. Winning even below a 1/8 rate but playing optional poker seems to be the better long term approach to the nit game. At least to me it does.
First off, congrats on the play good/run good. Second, TOTALLY agree that the blurring of active hands adds SO... MUCH... VALUE... really helps me figure out what I would do and then compare it to what you do. PLEASE continue to do so! Awesome addition to an already outstanding poker vlog!
Neeme! Love your content. Most of the vloggers are doing livestreams now. I find seeing all the hole cards less interesting. I guess I like to hear the thought process and compare to what I would do in that spot. Thank you for blocking out the opponents hands - I'm sure it is a ton of work for you and/or your editor. Great stuff!
Good for you, Andrew! Tough beat with that runner, runner wheel hit early on. Kept your composure and bounced back. Better things on the horizon, as your comfort level grows into these higher stakes. Excellent commentary. Blow by blow. Loved it!
Dear Andrew, thank you for sharing a part of your life with us for several years now. I know these stakes are very large for you and it's awesome to see you do well in them. But seeing you play 2/5 or 5/10 is always exciting for your loyal fans. There's nothing wrong with being "comfortable" and doing what you love to do for a living and being successful at smaller stakes. The quality you put into your videos and your knowledge of poker and your sense of humor make you the best poker vlogger out there. I enjoy a lot of the other vloggers as well but I am always stoked to see a new video from you. I know about a year ago or so you really cut back on making videos but it would be a very sad day if you ever decide to stop making them. That said I just wanted to share a heartfelt thank you for all you do for us. Don't go up in these massive stakes for our sake because we will watch no matter the stakes. Wishing you all the success in the world Andrew you deserve it.
Great content again, Andrew! Love the blur, and trying to figure out villians hands by which cards are grayed out at the top. 🙄 Keep up the great work, brother!
Definitely don’t let those other bloggers push you to jump up in stakes. They have good content but as someone who isn’t a spring chicken anymore, risks when you are young and don’t have the same responsibilities can be good. It is like you said everyone at their own pace. I like many of them. You are the OG. Stay strong 💪
So very crazy 🤪 started watching you and Brad around episodes 20 something. Seeing you guys agonizing over losses in the low hundreds back then is almost surreal now that you are booking wins in the 10k plus mark! Unbelievable.
Andrew, I still look forward to seeing your new vlogs. Thanks for sharing your journey. On a side note, I do miss your drone footage. It was great intro.
do you think the small 6 bet with AA takes out the chance of you having AK? for this reason i reckon the shove is best in actual situation even if the solvers say the small bet is better? thoughts?
Awesome Vlog! Love how you blur it out. Makes it great for the suspense. If you could also blur out the top right where it says your “outs” that would be great too
i like the 6 bet there basically giving them the correct price to set mine, but sometimes an all in like that would get called because it looks more like a bluff than a 6 bet.
Btw its great that you blurred out the other player hands but maybe might as well blurred out the outs on top right as well. Hands like 33:22 removed the suspense as it was obvious on what the other had
You started calling him nit doug! I'm dead!! He out played you kk vs aa because he's an incredible poker player. He knew you had aa but that was a crazy cooler. Andrew you're still the man!!!
Neeme, you were the first poker vlogger followed (before I found the many other amazing poker players like Brad, Doug, Daniel, etc) You introduced me to the high-level poker universe. This is the first time I'm saying this, but thank you for your influence. I got chills at the "Andrew AA's" hand at @29:30 Thank you, thank you thank you for vlogging your life with us
Hey Andrew just a heads up, if you’re blurring the opponents cards for suspense you may also want to to blur out the “outs” indicator in the top right. It lets us know who’s ahead. Love the content as always
I have mixed feelings about blurring the villains’ hands - surprisingly both are good. I like seeing it from your point of view and also from God’s point of view so I’m torn.
when you have to pay a $300 penalty for not showing your winning hand in the Nit Game, where does the penalty "go" ? does it go to the eventual loser so they pay you w/ your own money? or does the dealer get it? that would be cool.
It’s a splash pot in the next hand. I’d also be cool with it going to the dealer although they might start grabbing the cards away a little too quickly. 😂
Interesting you speak of the stress you feel playing the High Stakes. I noticed the anxiety I see on the videos in your face and body posture sometime ago. Trust your self you belong and of course have the time of your life.
Always love the content. I always look for tells when watching your videos. I'm not a professional poker player, just someone with ADHD who notices things that are out of place. One of your tells with the aces hand was licking your lips. Just a thought 😁. I have asked in the past about being able to be your eyes and ears at the poker table with keeping up with every little movment you make and what the players in the hands do as well in each position, that way you can focus on your game. Still an idea for the future 😁. Watch at 28:15 - 28: 25
It’s about image too. When Mariano got into a similar spot with AA vs two KK, people said he just got lucky to be in that spot and anyone would’ve gotten paid. I know the action wasn’t quite the same with him, but the main point is that Mariano is capable of making 4 bets with crazy hands, so there was no way his opponents could fold KK to him. Andrew isn’t a nit but doesn’t make crazy plays as often as Mariano, so no one would expect him to get out of line here. Andrew’s opponents are more skilled than Mariano’s were, but I bet one of Mariano’s opponents would’ve folded to Andrew and one of Andrew’s opponents would’ve gone with it against Mariano.
I had almost the exact same situation, not long ago, I elected to call. I think a light 6 bet is probably the worst, it screams strength. All is in polarizing, you either have it or you don't A flat call, you keep at least one guy in there. The main thing to realize is, when you have aces, The only thing you don't want to see are random hands going into the flop. But in an already 5 bet pot, you don't need to worry about random hands.

Love the blurred hands. Just suggesting burring the outs as well.
Is this real money
Blurring out opponents hands! Thanks! Makes the suspense better and fun to play along with you.
Love it too. Just gotta blur outs in the top right corner tho 🤪
@@duvistern2099 And the odds next to Andrew's hand!
Agreed that’s a nice change of pace. Coming from one of the OG poker vloggers it’s nice to see you not being stagnant and mixing things up.
Yeah, it's great for showing just his POV, which is why we're here.
agree that you need to take out Andrew's equity/win % and/or the check mark when he locks it up.
Andrew: *Blurs out opponent's hands*
Check mark next to his cards "Am I a joke to you?"
Hopping on the train loving how you blur out your opponent's cards, makes you think a lot more about each spot, having imperfect information!

Love the new format!!! Gets us thinking and involved instead of just watching! Great idea... Thanks Andrew!

How do you keep a straight face on a five bet pot when your holding aces. I would’ve had to check my cards at least 2 or 3 times. 😂
And here you are creating a great vlog. Way, way better than last one (just my honest opinion of course). Keep it up man 💪
