OMG, the Martini's, Italians, and their American dream. I noticed they loaded a wine barrel (cask) on their truck! Capra had the details down!!! O solo mio!!
Fun Fact: That skull on a chain at 4:02 is a watch. The top of the skull and the jaw separate, exposing the watch face.
Most beautiful most motivational movie ever made ..character George Bailey is my favourate ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Who watched Home Alone (1990)? That scene from the movie is what brought me to this one!
It was nice of that family to get that home of there own. To own and that bread, salt and drink as well. They were very lucky.
They got the home the way everyone else does. They got a mortgage loan from the building and loan society. Mr. Martini has to repay the loan with interest. The building and loan looked at the income he was getting from the bar he owned and determined he could repay the loan.
A 3 year contract of imprisonment working for Potter. The subtle things the film adds to show George doesn't fit...he slides down the chair, the skull on the desk, etc.
Fun fact, Seneca Falls, NY is the town Bedford Falls is based on. Today, it's only 5 hours away, so figure in the '30s it may have been a day trip there and a day trip back.
Back then garlic eaters was not an insult. Where I grew up it was a form of affection and only said in fun to friends. It was not said the way Potter said it.
We didn’t know there was racism. In Australia if you are insulted that means you are accepted and it is always in fun.
“And that goes for you too!” 😂😂😂
Sam is nice for not holding a grudge against george for taking his girl
Where’s the run on the building and loan scene?
The building of these homes was in the 1930s. Think of all of the work that was provided to build these homes. The building and loan gave a lot of jobs to people who really needed them
what happened to scenes 7 and 8?
It never happened...
Yeah ,What happened to 7&8? I'm glad someone else noticed !
Scenes 7 and 8 were deleted. Everyone in those scenes died because Harry wasn't there to save them because George wasn't there to save Harry.
@@holymasterchief lol 😂
copyright infringement
8:22 Home Alone 😂
Potters contract over 3 years is worth more than $960,000 today.
love
Please add scenes 7 & 8!
Scene 7-8 missing
I often wonder how films that were shot in black and white are converted to color movies. This conversion was done really well. There is no color tinting or overuse of the color. I hope someone will see this and tell me how it is done
i wondered this as well and googled it. back in the day they would do it all by hand and paint the film frame by frame. the quality of this colorization indicates it was probably done digitally. it’s really good work.
I was always led to believe that each frame was probably colored by hand.
It's probably easier nowadays to color it digitally. I heard there are current old black and white films that have been colorized via AI nowadays.
That’s rough, if that’s me I probably take the offer, but George can’t be bought
Skipped a part, the romance and wedding of goerge and mary
Where’s part 7 8 come on!
It's most likely copyright.
George & potter have a couple similarities both hate Bedford falls but feel trapped there. Potter is so wealthy he could live anywhere he & George are both bitter about the Bailey loans building.
8:21 - Comes from ‘HOME ALONE’, in speaking French Language.
7:58 - Including the Deleted Scene on ‘HOME ALONE’ too, in continuing is speaking French Language. (Ridiculous)
garlic eaters? who was it? 6:17
1:14 Hee-Haw
Whenever they run this movie they should put in a clip showing how much the 20,000 salary is worth on today's dollars. In 2024 this works out to about 250,000 per yeat.
$250000.00c 😱!
