I've been watching this movie every year since I was a kid in the 70s. It was an old movie then. It gets better and better each year I watch it. They don't make movies this good anymore. Everyone should watch it each year and remember how we are all supposed to act towards our fellow human beings.

Why on earth has this been colourised,with horrible bleached colours ruining it? Why this craze for coiourisation,leave classic black and white films alone.

I have to laugh at some of the compositing of the actors into real-life WWII film footage. I think King Kong had better compositing and that was made 13 years prior.

I rework the ending for this in my own head and insert whatever is needed to make it work but everyone sits down after and the bank examiner is STILL like the 8k is out there and SOMEONE has it. Whether or not George gets bailed out by the people whom he gave the chance to build a better life is great, That money would still be easily traced. And upon a few questions that jangle uncle billy he mentions running into Potter....And then it snow balls after.
