This movie is part of every Christmas. It's as old as I am : 77 years old ! Hard to believe it bombed at the theatres when it came out ! It's about how important every life is .

Movie is iconic but it’s not talked about enough how Stewart gives one of the greatest performances by a lead actor in film history.

Does life always have a wonderful Hollywood ending? No, but when it comes down to it, things are pretty wonderful. A little perspective is needed sometimes. If a man can be called a good husband, father, friend, and a good citizen, that says a lot about character.

The most unrealistic part of the movie is when beautiful Mary winds up becoming a librarian spinster when George isn't there to marry her. Donna Reed was stunning.

I'm sure Potter would get his in the afterlife, but Uncle Billy really dropped the ball.
