As a white gal who went to an urban area school and has pin straight hair like 1a status.. i was the different one, i was always so intrigued by the creativity and artistry of ebony hair..dont worry i never ran up on any of the girls and were like "OMG CAN I TOUCH YOUR HAIR?!" actually now that I think about this, they would be interested in my hair and want to touch it sometimes 😊🤷♀️ im grateful for growing up around so many different ethnicity's and races. It definitely made me who i am today. I remember when Chris rock did the "hair" documentary and I was like, "huh?! so much work!" and my respect grew so much more 😮 Much love from NY 🗽💯✨
Same here. Textured and natural hair are so beautiful. I know it's hard to work with (an old friend had to use oil to keep half an inch of growth), but there's so much beauty in both styles and the hair itself. 💖

I’m a black girl and in high school one of my besties was white… we were so comfortable with each other we played in each others hair all the time. I love the idea of the knotless in the back row. It makes the style look better cuz I hate when I feel like I’m running out of space in the back because it gets so narrow at the nape. It also helps relieve that tension everyone hates in the back of their head. Always great tips thank you ❤

It was hot water, it loosened the braids, so that they are not stiff. As well as sealed them.
