Janice Hodgson
Janice is a mother of two teenagers and the author behind the recipe books "Amarula Dreams and Malva Magic" and "Sweet Sensations." For 15 years, she owned a bakery that played a pivotal role in her family's lives.
Janice has been living in the UK for the past two years while working as a Marketing Manager for an International Events company. Her days are a balance of full-time work, family commitments, and the pursuit of her passion for creating recipe books.
Originally from South Africa, her family's relocation to the UK marked a shift in their culinary journey. Despite the change in scenery, her dedication to preserving the essence of South African flavours persisted. In between managing an international career and family responsibilities, Janice has found fulfilment in translating tried-and-tested South African recipes into a series of books tailored for the UK audience.
