I put this “bloom compost” on my garden and ruined my soil. Everything is either dying or just failing to thrive. Probably persisted herbicides from the yard waste used in the compost.

What about industrial chemicals, and pharmaceuticals that can cause disease? Are those regulated and tested for after the biosolids are "cooked?" Organisms/bacteria are a concern, but so are carcinogens in the form of chemical contaminants. What is the EPA doing as far as that is concerned?

We use themophilic composting to compost our dog manure and let it age for 2 or more years after that process has occured with zero problems with pathogens or parasites.
