I found MW in The beginning of the pandemic and I was like damn what a voice she’s going to make it andsure enough she did I have been hooked ever since love love it !💚
👏 thanks for this 😊 You're such a wonderful artist i cant wait till ur bk in Liverpool 🇬🇧 ✌ Ur voice and words speak truth u will stand the test of time for sure xxx
I love this but that isnt surprising, i havent heard one song of yours that hasnt seemed as of you reached inside my soul and pulled out a piece of my past
It's awesome. Maybe get rid of the "just" and "because" in your choruses. Fit less words in. Punch the rest harder. Great voice. Great progression. Great vibe.
@duanes8209 I've lyrics for 5 full-length albums and another dozen or so single tracks on various EP's, as well as hooks and chorus lyrics for other artists. It was to help HER, Duane. Not me. Eventually, you hit a point where you just want to see other people succeed at something you love. I started singing on stage when I was 5 years old and I'm 47. Yesterday, I spent 3 hours in practice, (which felt surprisingly not awful), but I also have to avoid sugar, I rarely drink and I have no chemical issues except my love for cigars. We all do something well, Duane, but not many of us actually try to help anyone else along the way... and that's pretty sad. Her melody was wonderful but the lines were too wordy. You can hear her forcing them in to the track, and she doesn't have to. Its art. Any critical producer would say the same thing, (and its a LOT less embarassing to hear it from some rando on the internet BEFORE an expensive session or a label rep says no) because the goal is for everyone to make as much money on the investment of time, talent, skill and effort as possible. It's not about whether or not she has a good sing. It's about whether making tiny adjustments now could make it a GREAT song with more rhythm and memorable inflection. Artists get points on the record. Producers get points on the record. Lawyers get points on the record. Labels get more points than all three combined... but it's their money. A percentage point of 10 million, however, (versus 10,000 or 100,000), is still a lot more money, and many labels don't even start PAYING the artist until they hit a certain base sales number. They have the most "creative accounting" in the world, short of politicians. If you care about other people, you tell them the things that get them paid. Life isn't getting less expensive. She doesn't need a white knight, sir. She needs an editor.
@@jamesdeananderson1411 I'm pretty sure she didn't ask for your advice and doesn't need it...she is doing fine. i say this because the way you worded your post comes off egotistical
