The dlc was so fantastic it made me realize that this series isn't to just give up on, even if Ubisoft essentially did.
He returned... he did it
0:54 same. It literally made me study cybersecurity. My favourite game ever. Never uninstalled it since the day I bought it. Games came and went but Watch Dogs remains my favourite.

First things first, I missed you bro and it's great to see another upload from you.
As far as the Bloodline DLC expansion goes, while there were a few misses in regards to Aiden's motives and the gameplay, this was still a home run that I would indulge in a whole lot more than the base game.
I still think if Ubisoft kept trying, Watch Dogs could be as big of a money maker as Assassin's Creed is. Sadly, after the reception of Legion, it doesn't look like we'll be getting another game anytime soon.
idk care what anyone says, watch dogs legion was a decent game and it was good especially with dlc characters, it has a good story, a decent gameplay, and an amazing animations

The worst thing about the DLC are these small references about previous games which are just dumb fanservice, like Aiden mentioning being rescued by Marcus when there was no way he could knew it, or Wrench being actually names Reggie, when it was clearly joke in wd2
Aiden could have easily hacked to find out who saved him
Didn’t play the game but wrench knows and could’ve told Aiden. Also we don’t really know if that was his name or not which was the joke

And it was established in bloodlines that Wrench name is Reggie Blechman (in e-mail). Also Marcus calls him Reggie

Having actual characters in bloodline definitely carried it to the point where it was actually enjoyable, but it really doesn't solve the core gameplay of the game, which is still mediocre at best
I agree. Bloodline is the only reason I’ve come back to Legion honestly. For me personally, 1 and 2 offer way better experiences in terms of gameplay, story, and the environment.

Oh man I’ve played Bloodlines hundreds of times I swear (I’ve barely replayed Legion itself tho) and I have the same criticisms about his motives for going to London. As as a Wrench Stan I didn’t like some of his motivations in Bloodlines either. It’s very out of character for him of all people to work for someone like Rempart. I like the idea of something happening and him leaving Dedsec, moving on, meeting Zane, and starting his own company and all that jazz, but him working for Rempart makes no sense. Unless he was syphoning info out or something.
I remember being so excited for Legion and my disappointment was intense but my love for Bloodlines is what keeps me coming back.

@@UbiCentral no problem, and truly is terrifying but let’s have hope it goes well. And true, as this game series was good for me but Legion was at the ice burg tip of mid in my opinion. So I hope the movie brings hope for the series to branch back into more serious aspects.

Fun fact, idk if it’s just me but Aiden’s hands going into his pockets are still broken on the Xbox version of the Legion game lol
sometimes it’ll clip on the PC version. it definitely could have been better, I think Ubisoft just didn’t give the devs enough budget (which is fair because Legion had poor sales)
On Xbox it’s unfortunately all the time, every time so sadly for those on Xbox there’s no real reason to walk all cool like as Aiden for the Xbox players, idk if it’s the same for PlayStation tho

@@UbiCentralI don’t even trust modern Ubisoft with another game, they either need to make a lot of changes at the company like getting rid of some people and changing how they make games, or maybe give the franchise to someone else who might be competent and has balls.

What's great is you can play the whole base campaign as Aiden, you just have to recruit him after you settle in the bar with your first recruit 😂

I will always say that it was an amazing concept with a ton of half-measures. I don’t particularly think it was terrible, it was just OK. It was clearly developed with the intentions of long term support, but fell flat on execution multiple times.
I enjoyed the story because it felt personal with my unique roster and perma-death made every death impactful. Good, enjoyable endgame was just absent. Don’t regret the experience, but will always think of what could have been if things were just executed better.

Legion died in less than a year of release, its so sad I enjoyed the first two games so much. Driving about was fun. London is not fun to drive, most roads being single lane.

Most likely would have been the same results, the story suffers from play as anyone. Don’t think sales would have changed much either. I do agree it would have been cool to see that original build, but ultimately play as anyone needed more time to be developed and built out (and even then making an engaging story would be difficult)

It's kinda worth getting the season pass so you can play the whole main game as Aiden Pearce. So crazy they even got him to do all the story voice lines. Kinda seems like a fever dream
It definitely helps being able to play as Aiden or Wrench, but it can only do so much. Poor mission designs, limited gameplay mechanics, and a story written for a non set protagonist still hurt the game. But yeah I agree, if I'm playing through the base game again I'm using those two characters for the majority of it haha

Honestly I've been playing without mods on my recent playthrough. But occasionally I'll use Living City or Windy City and a toggle HUD mod. Definitely some really great mods out there.
I thought you were gone, please keep making new videos on other Ubisoft games as well like Assassin's creed and maybe other games like GTA series
The “play as anyone” thing should’ve been for online only
Watchdogs should’ve continued the series with Aiden Pearce as the main protagonist instead of adding new ones in the later games. Aiden Pearce is a fan favorite and easily one of the best protagonists in gaming with a lot of success. Watchdogs 1 was such a great concept, the depressing atmosphere, the gritty and dark storyline, the gun takedown animations, and the adrenaline pumping missions made you feel like such a badass vigilante that put the fear of god into people. But the next game added goofy ahh teens as protagonists, and the next game added no protagonist. If you gave this game to Sony studio such as sucker punch or naughty dog, they would’ve made this game of the year easily. They would’ve added way better story, character depth and art style, music, sound and better graphics (we would’ve gotten E3 off rip) and continue to build and give more adventures with Aiden Pearce and easily make game of the year. It’s a shame how Ubisoft has such amazing ideas yet horrible execution that stems from greed or lack of management.

I know we killed defalt from watch dogs 1 (i only punched him), but defalt was really my favorite character from all watch dogs games. Would love to have him back or maybe some impersonation of him in the next games.
What did you think of the dlc villain rampart compared to the base or other games?
he wasn't anything special, aiden and wrench carried the story. don't think he was bad just felt generic. honestly watch dogs has always struggled with having a GREAT villain. i think defalt in bad blood may be the best. Skye Larson was also really good, wish we got more of her in Legion.

I agree with everything you said in this video, I loved bloodline more than I liked the 'main storyline' Im glad we got to see Aiden dawn the mask, coat, and hat, for one last time.
Bloodline is confirmed to take place before the events of Legion so the idea of Aiden coming in London after the bombs can't be

Am I the only one who want another game with Aiden? Back when the first game came out, I thought that the series would be revolving around him (like ezio was for AC at some point) and I was really sad that it wasn't the case.
I would have loved that back in the day especially after the first game, but Bloodline feels like a conclusion to his story. I agree with you though, we need a character with multiple games. Unfortunately Ubisoft avoid that, it’s like they’re afraid of character development now. If you look at Far Cry or Assassin’s Creed they swap out protagonists and villains every single game.

But having to buy watch dogs legion just to play bloodlines makes it impossible to play the dlc without the base game
And the only ones who play the dlc are only people who own watch dogs legion already

It would be nice to see WD In Canada. In the Game Black Flags And Rouge your in Montreal inside Abstergo entertainment building, that’s actually an Olympic Stadium 🏟️. That would be Nice. Set In 2013 or 2014 in Canada with a Canadian Hacker To Take on some kind of antagonist in his past and also find out what the templars is doing and the character figures out that his/her family member is part of the assassins and is undercover to see what the templars are doing. The main protagonist goes and saves him/her from them as a DLC.

I enjoyed all the watchdogs games have played and beat them all.
They all have something unique to offer for sure. Hopefully we will get another game in a few years
