In London, the UberEats platform boasts that it is running 24/7 so I decided to embark on a mission to stay online for a continuous full 24 hours and see where I end up, how many deliveries I do, how far I ride and how much money I make.

When is part 2,must watch
So fixie is OK so long as you have a front brake?
looks like hes completing small quests in an open world game
Hahaha! So true. Watching videos of people ‘work’ is a strange concept. It’s like farming simulator games, or truck driving. Or videos of people restoring tools or washing/detailing cars. Visualising tasks at my 9-5 office job as mini quests in an NPC game makes it more fun for me. Perhaps in the future we’ll play VR games where we do real world work as a pastime! Imagine how crazy that is. I’m blabbering now sorry!
Grinding or farming
leveling up stamina massively whilst grinding some in-game currency. sound about right...
Not gonna lie. I drive regular uber, and sometimes during pickups if the maps fuckup I scream something about 'stop being stupid game' or just generally keep referring to it as a video game passively. IDK why.
Its made like that on purpose. Its called Gamification.
I just watched someone work for 25 minutes. Maybe I need to pick up some hobbies

@@josephxkendrick :O

@Arkkay No. In down-time in a car you have the option to park and sleep therefore making it possible. 1-2 hour naps depending on the person would keep them awake long enough to be free from harm due to lack of sleeping.

I don't know how people get paid out side of the states but our minimum wage here is £5.69 ($7.25) an hour just by doing the uber eats work alone he has made 4x what the average american makes in the same time span. Now at the moment of watching the video it has 1,790,086 views, The typical video makes around £1.18-£2.65 ($1.5-$3) per 1000 views, He would have made at least £2107.79 ($2,685.12) and at most £4215.58 ($5,370.25) on the video alone, which is what most middle class Americans would make in 1 month, he did in 24 Hours.

@@Yatsukino Yes but he didn't JUST work on rush hours. Working out of rush hours is unproductive and the fact that he did it affected his earnings per hour.
this was nice to watch, not sure why
Cause it was 24 HOURS NON STOP
honestly, I could watch you riding your bike through London all day. you should start a livestream!
You should get a life bro it s very sad
@@jeanjean92500 lol nice
Woah there budddyyyyyy
So cool to see you working on your delivery skill. I'm currently on level 78 trying to get that 99 in a bit.
Too bad it’s not afkable
If he didn't make enough money from the deliveries, he definitely made enough with this video.
This man is a boss, well done.
When life is too simple, you need to emulate difficulty in order to grow. This is one way of doing it.
V Very based and positive.
Actually yea, it works like that for me at least.
Still better than fixed hours. This is great, work whenever can be arsed and finish whenever you want, I might consider this as a full time job and quit mcdonalds.
Contemplating doing the same thing instead of working at the B&M store.
but to actually compete with even a mcdonalds wage you would not be able to do those things like finish whenevr you want and work when you want, you would have to be on the go all bloody day to get any kind of money out of it, and this video was london, which has got to be the most popular place for uber in the UK. i dont get how people actually do this job for a living.
I much rather have my own work hours and then plan for whatever I can do after those hours.
UberEats seems like a fun job, but definitely not a full-time job but something on the extra to the side.
Better doing Amazon flex
You need think about weather (cold, rain, high huminidy which can damage phone), steep roads, WIND which can really slow you down and take a lot of energy. You need to regularly pay for bicycle maintanance and parts, have good sport clothes, powerbank, phone... I worked as a courier also, but its a hard job with all day polluted air and also dangerous with all that traffic. You have no life insurance, healthcare... nothing. But it can be good option for students as a part time job.
I work in swiggy an indian based food delivery company i work 12hrs a day in a bike . Ur such an inspiration thanks
The hero we didn’t ask for but needed
Loved this I've been a cycle courier for the past 2 years for deliveroo, just eat and most recently Uber. I started Uber around 2 months ago and just do it on the side. I thought I was the only one who hated the McDonald's orders lmao. Few questions what bag are you using ? What light are you using? Also what gloves? Any tips you would have for other cycle couriers? Could be a good video topic but would also appreciate answer in reply so I can use them myself lol. Thanks in advance and keep up the good work!
Which company did you find the most success with? cheers
@@hondaforever444 I rode for deliveroo full time from dec2016 until Nov 2017 I was getting 6hr +1 per drop and it was really good for me because I got scheduled hours(one of the roo guys contacted me and offered me what hours I wanted since I was a good rider in my area) so worked Mon-Thurs 10 and half hours each day. When it was quite I got paid to chill when it was busy I got paid to ride I loved it. I found this company called city sprint in June 2018 which was contracted by just eat and I worked for them it was 8hr 2 per drop really insane rates (I was the first cyclist to be working for them) I did this for about a month and half until I got noticed just eat didn't renew their contract with city sprint so no work available for most of us. I signed up to Uber around August 2018 just doing a couple hours here and there to keep me a float and it's also really good you get paid per drop but the benefits are the extreme flexibility. Like you work when you want any time during the day just log on whereas with roo they still work on shift basis(shifts given out every week people apply you get them earlier if you have better stats etc) past 2 weeks I got a 9-5 job and I've been doing Uber in the evenings and weekends and it's been great. Normally I'd get home from work and just watch RUclips or anime for a few hours and just waste the time whereas now I just gear up go log on watch my RUclips on the go and just make money from that wasted time instead. Uber works really great as a secondary income and so far it's my favourite to work for. Side note if you plan to.be a cycle courier just have Uber/roo as a side gig I was lucky enough to do it full time for a year and be able to travel while doing it but these kinds of jobs aren't reliable enough imo, being fully self employed can be rough as well. If you get injured or sick something minor that.stops you riding then you can't earn money but having a primary earner gives you garunteed income.

@@jysharif Wow thanks for all the info mate! More than I expected but very appreciated.
that bag is made by a polish company called Blahol I believe
Him: "I'm sure you don't want to watch me sit on my sofa just playing with my cat"
Me: *snofs* "yeah.... sure.... we don't" *snofs again*
Watched e3 videos all day RUclips recommends this
I love that he makes as much money as it would cost to pay the entrance fee for a 200 km bike race.
Erik Derek not if you’re sponsored ;)
I was like DAMN 9 DEGREES??? Then I was like oh it's celcius 😂
I think the real question is....how many times did you edit out your wrecks?
Literally was just looking for something to watch and I thought I’d only stand like 2 minutes of this but bro, u got a new sub ❤️
As a uni student being a ubereats courier is very appealing
You did like 40 deliveries for £200
If I did one a day, 30 a month, £170 extra, that is a lot of extra money for me.
6pm-10pm is usually the best time to work for best $/hour.
Joseph Kendrick I’m thinking I might buy a cheap moped to do this because the students at my uni order in a lot. I could make some good money doing this
Just get a job at minimum wage, and you'd make more than what you make on Uber.
@@CalebWolf You would also waste 7 hours more every day
@@yeahnoway111 Way less then making a living wage on Uber.
Damn, I should make my household all do this, 6 people in my house, we work once a week, pay all the bills off live the life.
Sounds like a move
I had skyrim launching in the background so all his riding was accompanied by epic music lmao.
Okay, this is epic
hahahaha
wow i cant belive you worked that hard for that little money. creds to you man
