I don't blindly stand with anyone. Actions matter. I fully support Israel's right to defend itself. If Oct 7 happened here and impacted my family/community/country, I would hope our government would respond like Israel. Not only fighting back, but going to extraordinary levels to avoid civilians. Sending messages ahead of time to evacuate loses the element of surprise, but Israel does it any way. I believe the way Israel is working on this war is the best method in this difficult situation.

The people who are fighting each other on campuses are allowing themselves to forget that Netanyahu and Hamas are the problems, not the Israelis and not the Palestinians. What would happen if Jewish and Muslim students joined forces against injustice itself?
