The Royal mints coins have been absolutely disgusting of late. They don’t refund on bullion, but some of us have called them and argued with them they are not of standard expected. There’s a clause in their terms and condition where they have to change the coin. Eventually they will agree to replace it and send you a free postage label to return the item. Do not let them get away with it as we are all sick of the quality control of the RM.
I don’t know if you can return bullion because of milk spots. But if the Canadian mint can come out with a way to stop it, I can’t understand why the other mints haven’t done this yet. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience. Dan
The first 2 are very nice but the third one looks like a large milk spot must try and get the Britannica with the King 2024 thank for sharing those mate cheers. 👍💰👍
I will not be ordering 2024 Britannia, rather I will go for Maples the maple has a shield against milk spots I hear. The 2023 Britannia's I have no problems and the 2023 Maples are beautiful with queens 1952 to 2022 date's
I know, the Canadian mint have had a solution for many years. I think they are just focusing on pumping out new products. Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Hi Dan, I see youre a new channel. Branding suggestion: first comment at beginning of every show, "hey, this is Dan the Collecting Man..." or similar. Best success.
Thanks so much for your support and feedback. It’s so important for me to get this! What about “Hay coin collectors, it’s Dan the collecting man here with another coin” thanks Dan
I’m never buying any silver from British mint again. All my coins from many years back, were heavily stained and milk spots. There goes my money on the premiums i paid. If you can get near to spot price, go ahead and buy , other wise stay away from Britannias.
This was my first disappointment from the Royal Mint. But I have heard from a lot of people who have the same experience. Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Wow. I wanted to get a Royal Brittania. That’s the first time I’ve seen it. Maybe I will be able to find one in the States. I appreciate you sharing those with us and I feel your pain looking at the 2024. SMH on that one 🤦🏽♂️
Unfortunately the quality of 2024 Britannia is a really bed and is very common that u might receive next one exact the same from Royal Mint... But I like idea to send the set of 3 to grading for future investment and like u stated unique of the coins.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’m only going to send the two coronation coins for grading. The 2024 coin is not worth it. Thanks for watching. Dan
Same deal... got a 2024 Silver Britannia... milkspotted to hell... every other coin has been fine... just the 2024. Like you said... not a good start to the new years coins.
I'm surprised they didn't make the version with the crown the standard one. I also feel like the UK mint needs to work on their quality control. The milk spots seem to appear quite often from what I've seen. I hope they can fix that.
All kings in the UK, their portraits on their coins are all uncrowned, that’s the way it has been for a long time. The crowned king coin was a special edition for when he was crowned. We shouldn’t see another crowned coin, unless maybe they do one for a special occasion again in the future.
It’s very disappointing. But it’s the first time I have ever had a bad one for the Royal Mint. But I have heard lots of stories with similar experiences. Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Thanks for the tip 😉 I like to try and get a good variety of coins to show everyone what’s going on in the world of silver. Can’t wait for the 2024 maple 🍁 Dan
I'm not at all impressed with the Royal Mint silver coins in recent years, and won't be buying any more due to the horrid milking and general quality issues with the finish.
I’m not surprised. I only got one 2024 Britannia for my RUclips channel, and the odds of getting it milk spots. Not great for the mint! Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Britannia's are notorious for milk spots so I'm suprised you never really seen it before that's why I don't own anything from them and will never buy anything from there Mint.
I like to get at least one coin from the key government mints around the world each year. I have now finally experienced what everyone else has been through. Dan
Yes the crowned Britannia is certainly one to collect. Shame about the milkspots though. Cheers Dan ✌🏻😊
Thanks so much for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. Dan
milk spot and looks like may be a possible 3 scratches or sharp edge milk spot made me so disappointed. 2024 very disappointing
Yeah, great work, Britain. My 2023 coronation came with a milk spot. Done with U.K.
That’s a shame about the coronation coins 😒 thanks so much for watching. Dan

The creepy effigy is way worse than the milk-spots. No more RCM, RM, Perth coins for me.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. And thanks for watching. Dan
Use a rubber to get the milk spots out..works always for me
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. I might give it a try. Dan
I stopped buying British Milk Maids. And I recommend not getting them graded. As soon as they milk spot you will have lost the value.
Thanks for sharing your experience. And thanks for watching. Dan

Really bed? I don't see a bed on it.
I have a 2023 no crown Charles.
Same deal... got a 2024 Silver Britannia... milkspotted to hell... every other coin has been fine... just the 2024.
Like you said... not a good start to the new years coins.
I can’t believe it’s so bad. Thanks so much for watching. Dan

It’s so surprising that the Canadian mint has found a solution, but no other mint has. Thanks for watching. Dan
US resident but I do love Britannias. That 2024 looks terrible though holy cow
It’s very disappointing. But it’s the first time I have ever had a bad one for the Royal Mint. But I have heard lots of stories with similar experiences. Thanks so much for watching. Dan
Why still milk spots -' no more on the Canadian Maple Leaf coins - so there is a remedy
Thanks for the tip 😉 I like to try and get a good variety of coins to show everyone what’s going on in the world of silver. Can’t wait for the 2024 maple 🍁 Dan
Sold three sets of the Queen's.Beasts one US dollar under spot because of the milking on the rims.
That’s a great shame! It’s disappointing that the Royal mint has so many issues. Thanks so much for watching and sharing your experience. Dan
They look ok when not milk spotted. When they do, they look terrible. Go for Maples, much better all around.
Can’t wait for the 2024 Maple 🍁 thanks so much for watching. Dan
Don’t particularly care for him.. not buying any coins w his image.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. And thanks for watching. Dan
That is in poor condition Dan I would be sending it back and ask for my money back? cheers. Stephen.
I wish I could. But you can’t send bullion back to the mint 😕 thanks for watching. Dan

Unlucky with the milk spots there… Those Britannias definitely have milk spotting problems…
Thanks for the message. Hopefully I have better luck next time. Thanks so much for watching. Dan

Do they spit on it ? 😮
I have no idea. Probably because I’m from Australia 😉 and we keep beating them in cricket 😂🤣
Boooo on the milk spots -- and thanks for showing it for all to see!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed it. Dan
I'd send it back if I was u .
Unfortunately you can’t send back bullion to the mints 😞 thanks for watching. Dan
That’s a shame.
