Tim, you are so right that this is in the Scandinavian poetic tradition. We have had so many good song writers that have done good poetry in Norway, Sweden and Denmark, from Taube, Prøysen, Afzelius, Kim Larsen, Ole Paus but few have dared to do it in English. So happy to see that the new generation really are able to express themselves in both music and poetry.

Tim, the Icelandic singer has to be Björk, right? Another thing, I think the audio is pitched up a little in the youtube video, her voice sounds a little funny. The Spotify audio is better.
You might already know by now - she said in her livestream that she made the video using her original demo tape when she was 17. The original energy of the song. I really like the Spotify one, too. And I'm sure I'll really, really like the album edition!
