- Despite setbacks and disappointing results, AC Milan are not giving up in the Scudetto race. The latest win - a huge 1-0 victory away against Napoli - was thanks to a tactical masterstroke from Stefano Pioli and could offer indications for the future.

Milan best decision is to stick with Pioli. An underrated manager in Italian league. He deserves praise. Forza Milan
Nice video, you got a new subscriber here. Forza Milan !
Brilliant video, as always. As a shirt collector, I loved seeing the new jerseys at the end. Still missing the makeshift curtain from your previous jerseys 😀😀😀
You should make longer videos man
You vids are amazing
Keep it up
Yeah, Milan is trending in the right direction.
However, I wish we could play a faster tempo vs the less successful teams. We have dropped many points vs the bottom team.
If we can get Berardi in the Summer and a Back up for Giroud, we should be able to move forward.
I also wish we keep that black 3rd kit forever, it's sick
I definitely think we should keep our 4-3-3 because it has obviously shown the results we need. But for next season, I hope that our players who sit on the bench a lot can come on and showcase their talents so that we avoid more injuries.
Forza Milan
I've been screaming for Bennacer as a CAM for ages! Finally! Please use your newfound connections Stefano and tell Mister Pioli to stick with it!
If Pioli adapts to a new system that can adapt to playing purely and specifically for low blocks then I have no issues with him staying because that will ultimtately become what it comes down to in the end. Yes Pioli has a fantastic record against the top teams, we play counter attacking football against the top sides and do a great job there however beating inter and Napoli counts for nothing when you slip up in Salerno, slip up against Fiorentina, Sassuolo, Spezia these are the games pioli needs to win because im still just as a lot of Milan fans, who have credibility just as everyone else, still question if Pioli is up to job as well as the managements windows. Against Lazio was very attacking and we've dominated them twice at san siro this season, smaller teams won't give us the space Lazio did because they play to win rather than like the smaller clubs. 4231 isn't acceptable to keep playing against bad sides and I hope it does adapt to the 4141 or 433 because playing defensive 4231 limits just how world class Leao could be in a front 3. But I understand we need a RW before a whole change but overall at the heart of Pioli he is a defensive manager, and the jury is still out on whether he can win a scudetto like that.
We need to win against small teams, i dont care if pioli has to adapt to an Allegri playing style against bottom teams as long it gets us 3 points lol
Messias has one hell of a left leg though. But he has been proof that we could use higher quality RWF more than anything else.
I keep wondering what those DVD's are in the background
This system of play is originated by the AC Milan of Sachi ( he introduced this pressing football in Europe)
Not buying it. This is an overcomplication of simple tactics. Pioli runs a general 4231 and the AM can have freedom to play deeper (turning it into a 433 or 4141 at times) this is basic stuff. Pioli has done great but he's no tactical genius. However he is growing and that excites me. Forza Milan!
One Question- Are you sure that first image against Napoli with possession wasn't just a 4231 with attacking full backs and Bennacer playing the 10 of the front 3 behind Giroud? Bennacer technically is much better in advanced situations than Kessie and Krunic who have been tried there this season along with Brahim. I still think Pioli will stick to a 4231 just adapt the roles of 3 players. Kessie, Bennacer and Tonali. Those 3 seem to be to me the only ones who played a new role in recent weeks.
433 u play with 3 physical midfielders(box to box) , but in 4321 u play with 2... why 3 physical player in the middle of the park??? I think eliminating 1 and making him a creative player, is and will always be better
I don't think that eliminating an AM is a good idea , it will be a big mistake... 433 have never worked for us and to be honest , i don't like it and i don't think it suits our playing style and football physolophy!
We need to buy a creative player who can unlock teams with low blocks! That's what we lacked last season! Pioli chose the 433 cause Diaz was not playing well and we didn't have any replacement for him in this position, so he made some tactical changes .
The 4231 is a great formation for us and we are more balanced attackingly as well as defensively!
Why change something that works really well??? 🤔🙄🙄
