- A key bridge in Baltimore, Maryland USA, was brought down by a Cargo ship as it collided with the pillar of the Francis Scott Key Bridge. The port is now closed and it has diverted the traffic. Baltimore port is one of the busiest ports in the USA. In this video Madan Gowri speaks about how this collision happened, what happened to the 22 Indian crew members and the construction crew working on the bridge.

As an Indian living in the US, I am hearing about the hate posts against Indians from you. I didn't hear any news taking about nationalities of the crew at all.
Regarding racism,I have lived here for more than 12 years and I haven't been subjected to racism.But my kids were called brown skinned a few times. I must say I was subjected to comments about my skin color more in India. I find Americans extremely friendly, interesting. Of course just like any place there are some people who may not welcome us.But overall my experience is very positive.
To add to what you discussed about the hip, when big ships come or go out of the port they are helped by local experts called masters to move safely as ports are shallow than open waters. Here also this ship had two 'masters' and they were the non-Indian people on board. The ship was under the control of these people when the accident happened(I am not saying it is their fault).

Well said. We also live in the US (California) for over 25 yrs. Our grown-up kids are born & brought up here. We never encountered any racism. In fact, people really love us & respect us for our knowledge.

MG bro❤... Thanks for making this video. The shipping company name is Synergy Shipping one of the leading shipping companies providing large opportunities for Indias. The issue happened was the generator failure. Due to this power shutdown happened in the ship. We call it Black out. As per the regulations the emergency generator (the standby one) should come in operation within 48 seconds of black out. That also started. Before itself the crew sent the mayday signal. Also they dropped the port side(left) anchor (you can see in images). They reversed the propeller and tried to reduce the speed. There is no other means of stopping the ship. This much effort they made. But unfortunately the emergency generator also tripped. Then the incident happened. I also get in trouble if the company gets bankrupted. I hope the good things will happen.

If u become aged, u have nothing but depend on children to get support.. very few are getting extreme high salary and they don't represent our full society. My husband is from very poor background because of education we are in UK. A 60 year old men get equal salary to 30 years old in UK. A women with big break in career get high salary here. There is a equality in uk salary system. No way we have this equality in india.. Most are buying property in India while getting salary in uk. This is a good thing for our country. We are investing in India.
