Hahahah really cool! Too bad you did not have a camera on it. Also, I was wondering how you landed it without damaging it. Need a field of grass for a softer landing.
Really like your detailed dirtier finish. Would like to see you do something on the re-finishing of a UMX. I think the lack of physical panel lines gives a far better scale appearance to most models. 😁
This plane really flies well. I've been thinking of buying this or the UMX F-86. I really love the looks of the F-86. My Dad flew the F-86A, E, & H from 1952 to 1962. He loved it, and so do I. We still have an F-86H, on display at my local ANG unit, in Delaware. Which UMX do you think has greater speed and performance, the 86 or 262? Certainly the 262 is easier to fly, as it clearly has a lower power off stall speed and more benign stall characteristics. Which one do you enjoy flying more. I'd appreciate any feedback you can give me. Thanks.
@@davescott9409 i too love the sabre. My son and i flew them head to head today. The f86 performs better but the 262 is easier to fly and performs aerobatics better. Hope that helps!
What do ya mean you wouldn’t post the video if you failed as much as we hate when that happens ya got let people learn from the mistakes we make. lol great little plane.
Well flown brother...I expect nothing less. Lol. Great job on the details man! Look great. This one is awesome. Great flying UMX EDF.
Yessir! Flies much larger than it is
Just bought one. Need a IC2 adapter though. And of course will add a swastika.

@@JohnPiperBoots there was a camera on it..and i did land on grass. Im confused lol
That small, and that fast could be challenging. Nicely flown.
Sweet little plane, well done
Really cool and a very nice flyer!😎

@@hechtspeedThanks for the response. Which one do you enjoy flying more?
Nice, smooth flying - looked great on those close passes. I am a bit surprised that it cruises so well on low throttle settings.
@@jollyroger2226 yeah she scoots right along!
You should get some sort of wireless mic. It's hard to hear you most of the time..
@@txkflier probably not a bad idea
Very cool. How does it compare to the f14 and sabre?
@@alexstockl2843 easier to fly that both..longer flights. Not as fast but a really really good flying bird. Might be my favorite umx jet ever.
@@hechtspeed wow, that's high praise, especially coming from you! I think in the end one just buys them all haha. Love your videos
