@@camostrike4395 I have over 3000 stl files in my folder... Most of them terrain files by Grim Dark Terrain. My titans are genuine GW, as I bought them in a sale. The extra titan weapons, Infantry and Vehicles are all 3D printed. So I'm guessing I only printed 15-25% of the files I have.

It has just gotten worse. Last I checked the cost to put together a single 2000 point force, the most common game size, was $1000+ US. That doesn't include any extra units to swap out to change that force around at all. And if you want to play any of the swarm armies that cost doubles.
I tried to get into total war, Warhammer, fantasy and Tzeth units die so easy although i think the blue horrors are kinda funny little starfish wizards

Funny story, I bought enough space marine and plague marine's to make two armies. I spent a long time assembling and painting them. Best therapy I ever had. Just sat down and didn't think for hours, juat worked on these minis. I don't play, and I don't really plan too, but the experience I had was better and more beneficial to my mental health than the real therapy I was in.
Literally just found out this happened to my uncle this week. We were playing D&D monthly and missed December and now hes getting into 40k. Worst part is i heard rattling coming from my Tau last night.
Exact situation with my husband. He, his father, and other buddies all got into 40k during covid. So when all the game workshops closed their businesses, they bought everything in lots. We now have renovated a bedroom into about 10 shelves and 2 speed racks full of minis. They did stop buying them.. only because they got a 3d resin printer and started to print the models themselves.

Thing is, there are many ways to be a 40K enjoyer. There are 40K RPGs, or you can just enjoy the novels and collect the Codex books.
I would recommend Dr. Majorkill for these types of symptoms. He is a therapist from down under.
