Men ARE visual. The best thing a woman can do in an online profile is to present herself as honestly as possible - not 20+ pounds ago, not ten+ years ago. Show yourself as completely as you can as you are right now, including full body pictures, so there are no surprises when you meet on the date. Some will say men are shallow to judge on appearance, I would say it's dishonest for women to lie with their pictures. You create a huge impediment to attraction, when you start with deception. (And for what it's worth the woman I'm seeing now refers to my on-line photo as my "prison" shot - full body shot, shorts and t-shirt, with my GSD posing as well.)
This is not utrue for anyone. Both men and women need to be posting current pictures. It is definitely not one-sided! Lol
