Great time watching your work from France! Wildland firefighting never ceases to amaze! It's nice having your comments as you tell us about your experience there. Makes a difference with the usual fire season recap videos we get with other crews. Makes it more personal. Thanks for the video
This year was also my first year as a wildland firefighter. I was also working on the Lava Fire for my last role of the season starting late September and ending I think October 13th. Gotta say, it's quite exciting seeing something online that you have a direct personal connection with.
That is awesome! We were one of the first crews on the fire so it was interesting to see it before it blew up. Thanks for checking out the video and stay safe! Maybe see you next season somewhere!
I’m a wildland firefighter as well. I watch pretty much every video that comes out. Love all the hotshot crew videos but for some reason your commentary may shed light to the average citizen. Nice vid and I’m glad you had some good rolls
What do you guys do about tree stumps that end up in the middle of the scrape? Id imagine trying to dig them out would be pretty time consuming but also what if they catch fire, i start wildland training next month
Oh shit! Hey man it's Meno up at the Priest Lake office. Cool video man. Popped up on my front page.
Hey man! Thanks for checking it out, I am glad you liked it!
