Hello Jean These Little Bags Are Just Perfect Love The First One The Colours Just Love Them, Do Sorry To Hear About Your Little Dog, It’s Hard We Lost Furn 5 Years Ago And Bill Still Feels It, I Made Him A Cushion Cover At Christmas With The Springer Spaniel On And He Has It At The Side Of Him I Keep Asking For Him To Let Me Put A Cushion In But He Said It’s Ok We’re It Is, So Lovely To See You Back Jean Happy Stitching Lynn 🧵🪡✂️🤗🥰

Jean we lost our Chihuahua and our Spaniel and it was heartbreaking, so I can identify. Hope it gets easier for you. Nice to see you back. Love your little patchwork bag. I’ve made plain ones and it never occurred to me to do a patchwork one with embellishments. I think these are precious. Use mine for crochet. Thank you for the inspiration Jean, I think I will get my scraps out and try one. We used to make them at school, known as Dorothy bags remember? Tfs. xxx
Thanks Mary, we lost Lucy last year, Zimba this year and we only have Molly now who is 13 years old and she’s getting more frail. I never been without a dog so when Molly goes I’ll be lost. Yes we did make the bags at school known as ‘Dolly’ bags, I think ‘Dorothy’ bags are a very different bag. Hope you’re keeping well xx
These bags are wonderful! They allow for so much detail and are extra special with your hand stitched vintage laces and applique. Thanks for the inspiration. Sorry to hear of the loss of your pup. Ours is 13 and sadly failing...finding a craft to loose yourself in can really help. xo
