*Additional supplier advice on top of this great video (props Andrew)* You want to first ask for a logo. If they say they need a bulk order before they can brand then you wait till you have your cash flow up from the non branded dropshipping or if you can afford it all the power to you, just make sure the product is SELLING and SCALABLE. Once you see that the product is selling well, you hit the supplier up with proof of your sales and tell them that you want this product logo’d, which they will then give you a MOQ of let’s say 1000. You then go negotiate with other suppliers, using that and your sales as bargaining power. Because now you can tell the supplier you’re negotiating with that another supplier is offering 500 MOQ instead of 1000. Repeat the process till you find the cheapest MOQ while still assuring the quality of your product. Just focus on making sure the product sells first then when you have sales and cash flow you have the power to negotiate.
Thanks for sharing a unique/valuable way to dropship. Personally a partner and I worked with a supplier agent many years ago and was burnt by his oversight and I should had paid more attention. Will maybe try again in the future with an approach like this where I can take full ownership in the entire startup process. Don't outsource until necessary.

DROPBRANDING! Hi Andrew, I recently came across your videos and wanted to thank you for your tips and insights. I've tried to speak with some suppliers on Alibaba (haven't tried the low MOQ ones you've showed in the video), but they seem to not understand the dropshipping concept; i.e. - they want to sell the private label product and have them shipped to me personally, rather than have the orders shipped to the customers as the orders come along. How do we import our private label products from the Alibaba website to my Shopify store so that it's all automated? Or do I just have to have the items shipped to me and then I have to take care of shipping the items to the customers myself?
I have a newbie question: Do I need to contact the supplier, order the batch for my branded products and they stay with the supplier for when my customers place orders on my website? Once they place orders, I then send those orders to the Alibaba Supplier? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Hi Andrew, I’m new to all this, isn’t dropshipping where you don’t physically handle the products, it’s shipped directly from manufacturers? How do you set this up via alibaba if you have to order moq ? Long story short, I’ve got 2 trademarked brand names that are unique and relevant to the beauty industry, we originally planned to buy products after testing from alibaba and store ourselves and ship but now can’t really afford to do that, but don’t want to waste the brand / trademark hence looking into dropshipping route, I’m a web developer and graphic designer so that’s all taken care of, we just want to get a wide variety of products now, any advice would be great
Forget about branded dropshipping unless you have atleast 4k to 6k to spend. And at that point it's not even dropshipping. You'll have to buy and store products and fulfill with a 3pl
Can you please make a video on your journey ( from school to collage to digital marketing manager to businesses) which degree you have , how you join company . please make a video on this , this really help me to choose a best career for me. If not you just tell me which degree you have and is hard to join a company and earn 6 figures salary.
