Im a drummer myself, and i followed this tutorial because i love to play songo on drums, but i wanted to feel the piano better, and this explanation was so clear to me that i could actually learn it beyond what i expected, so thank you very much and respect! (great groove btw)
Almost ten years this lesson is still awesome.
I just found it today and started learning/practicing it. Awesome lesson!!
thanks, hopefully this will impress the mamacitas
It did?
Deko Dupteb it definitely did
Tritian drowned in la panocha. May he rest in peace.
@@d.c.8828 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 your wild lol
Ayo?
It is one of the clearest tutorials I have seen so far. Still a bit fast for beginners. First time I've seen someone explaining the actual chords in slow motion as well as the harmonies, and the break Eb to return to Em and D.
Thank You!! I want to combine Latin & Gospel music. This tutorial was just what I've been looking for.......easy to follow. Now it's time to practice!
*THIS WAS FANTASTIC!! Mystery has been solved!!*
It's really clear and simple, thanks!!!
Grt work ,thanks for the info 😊latin piano is really fun ,m exploring more
Thank you for sharing.. Have a great muzical Xmas and the best for the new year.. :).
Exactly what I needed.
Great lesson! Clearly explained and it is fun to learn. Thanks a lot! :)
thank you for this. not only is this a great latin lesson but i love that it works both hands. i am going to try and do this with lots of scales thank you!
Super informative, easy to follow, thank you! One suggestion I'd make is to purchase a pop filter and make sure you're hydrated, as all the little mouth crackles the mic is picking up can drive some people (ie. weirdos like me) crazy :p
Thanks........Great lesson! Just love the sounds of Latin music
Very nice and easy to learn tutorial. Thank you!
Come on, shake your body baby, do the conga
I know you can't control yourself any longer

Thanks, hopefully this will impress the papi’s
Very good tutorial!!!! Just what i was looking for. Thank you :-)
Thank you for this lesson. I have always wanted to learn this
Great tutorial
This isa a fantastic tutorial. My question is what are other rhythmic options and does this note pattern apply to latin music in general or just this melody?
Thank you for this tutorial.
This is what I'm looking for! Thanks!
Excellent! Many thanks!
Awesome! Thx so much for the vid
Thanx, Maestro 🌹🌹🌹
I get it. You jump between two chords, and you switch between playing and emphasizing the root and playing and emphasizing the seventh while omitting the root each time you hit one chord. Even though you are only playing three distinct notes at a time, the harmony is more jazzy, because overall you are playing a dominant seven. Pretty cool. You could consider this particular example to be played in G major, which would mean that regardless of what key you are playing, you should be on the vi7 and then V7. So if you were playing in C major, you would start on A min, alternate the octave A with octave G twice, and then go to G maj, alternate the octave G with octave F twice. Repeat forever using both hands.
great lesson. Thank you for sharing , looking forward for more.
Love it! It is very tricky doing the left hand but I'm working on it. Thank you!
Loved it. Well explained !
Thank you! Right hand no problem, super slow on left hand. Feel fingers strained; following your lead. Will practice :)
I love this a lot! Adding my other variations for latin style!😀
Just to clarify: You are actually in the key of D major (not E minor), but the song's two-chord progression is in the dorian mode (E dorian). I know, it's a minor technicality, but some people might wonder about that. THANKS FOR THE VIDEO!
This is incorrect incorrect. E Dorian has a C-sharp in it. He’s playing D dominant seventh chords, with a C natural. He’s an E minor.
Lol yeah the song is in E minor (G major), not in D major.
Ths exercise is in the key of D using a progression I-II (D -Em)
In my opinion the key is e moll
