    STORYLINE:
Israeli police said Wednesday it arrested two protestors during a demonstration outside the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem.
The arrests took place after some of the demonstrators lit bonfires on the road.
Hundreds of protesters gathered outside the Prime Minister’s residence calling for the release of hostages held in Gaza shortly after Hamas released a recorded video of a renowned Israeli-American hostage, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, captured in its attack on southern Israel on Oct.7.
In the video, Goldberg-Polin accused Israel’s government of abandoning the hostages who remain in Hamas captivity.
He also claimed that some 70 captives have been killed in Israel’s bombing campaign.
Goldberg-Polin was clearly speaking under duress, and the claim could not be independently verified.
Goldberg-Polin, 23, was at the Nova music festival in southern Israel when Hamas launched its attack from nearby Gaza, killing some 1,200 people and taking hostage around 250 others.
Over 300 festival goers were killed during the attack.
In the video Goldberg-Polin is seen missing the lower part of his left arm.
Witnesses said he lost part of an arm when attackers tossed grenades into a shelter where people had taken refuge, but he tied a tourniquet around it and walked out of the shelter before being bundled into the truck.
The video comes during the Jewish holiday of Passover.
Though there was no date on the video, Goldberg-Polin appeared to reference the week-long holiday in the recorded speech.
Families of the hostages have accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government of not doing enough to secure the release of those held captive by Hamas.
A one week cease-fire in November saw the release of around 100 Israeli hostages in exchange for a larger number Palestinian prisoners.
Israel says some 100 hostages remain in captivity, in addition to the bodies of 30 others either killed on Oct. 7 or who died in captivity.

    We will.
Be praying for these people. Dear Lord, we pray for these people who do not know. And the name of Jesus we pray Amen. The Lord says, if we believe in him we shall love our neighbors and love our enemies and pray for them. As well.
These scriptures are to be true.
