Ah Cold Blood, another mission I grinded quite a bit. It's not as reliable as Triage (for me) but it has some fun cheeses. Like blocking the Amphibs from entering the nest at the final wave. Game checks for enemies in the nest after a couple of minutes and the final wave has to actually enter the nest via the two entries north and south of the nest, at the bottom. 4 groups of 19 tile level 3 fire ants can hold it off easily on nights 3-4 (I think also 5) for the duration, you will win while the ants outside are still fighting the final wave.
(And some explanation for 4.2. It's not counting tiles or levels, it's counting number of ants, so Tier 3 ants contribute an extra ant, but tier 2 ants don't contribute an extra ant)

Having played this level a ton. I can safe with CONFIDENCE that the nightly amphibian waves do in fact spawn in the Nest. Glad to see that you know about the tunnel blocking, makes the final wave insanely safer to play out. Big headed ants are extremely weak without their Super Soldiers, and the black ants are both weaker than you think, yet stronger than you think. I didn't think that you could avoid triggering them by letting them have your aphids, game makes it sound like they're extremely important, but not constantly losing food to the raids is even moreso I guess.

Wait a minute, I recognize you! I've seen your videos! They helped me with drive them back and last mound standing.

@@plasmamuffin1320 Glad they helped, I've been focused on some other projects right now or else I'd have put more effort into the 3.x levels. (the RNG is atrocious on 3.1, hence the hiatus)
