1:15 Man, if only they actually finished the technical aspects of 06. This whole segment looks so cool. Like an alternate universe where the game is complete, or where they decided to remake it. It does the game better justice.
Really wish they'd have kept the more detailed/ realistic aesthetic of "Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)". It seemed like such a natural step forward in character design. Eggman looked genuinely imposing. It's truly a shame that they decided to take a step back with "Sonic Unleashed".

Okay, you might like the Sonic 06 model and that's completely fine, but let's be real, that running animation was always broken and weird to look at, when Sonic is at max speed. The Unleashed/Generations running animation is more natural looking and much better.
06 model is my favourite but damn is it extremely unique... because it doesn't fit in any game that doesn't have the ultra realistic artstyle! That's why it looked amazing in 06 and looks amazing in Frontiers, but not in the other cartoony art styled games in my opinion
I may not like the normal run animation but I really would like to see Sega try to interpret this model at some point or at least go to boost model. Shame they use good designs for only like 1-3 games

Unpopular opinion: the 06 sonic model is the ugliest sonic model and it's way worse than the unleashed model and has some of the worst animations known to man
Personally the ingame 06 model looks life less, however the opening cgi version looks peak!
