Her song mentions Clara Chia (the mistress) and Gerard Pique (ex-husband) in a smart way by playing with words. The lyrics say 'she has the name of a good person but clearly she is not' . The word "Clara-mente" means clearly which is the name of the mistress: Clara. Then she plays with words that rhyme with Pique. 'I only make music, it is not my fault it splashes you' Splashes translated to spanish is "salpique". Once again mentioning Pique, the ex-husband. And Clara was 22 when she started dating Pique. Hey Cliff, Shakira was married to Gerard Piqué - famous spanish soccer player (Football). He cheated on her with a girl name CLARA (half the age of Shakira). He was rubbing Clara in Shakira's face, his mother or family gave her super short time to move out from their home in Spain (she took her 2 sons, Milan and Sasha and moved to Miami). That was the deal to keep the full custody of the kids. That time her father was very sick, and the Tax issues. A lot to handle alone.
She even recorded a song among the boxes as they were packing. It is: Shakira - Acróstico. The feels are real with that one! 🙂
She never married Pique. When asked, she said that she was scared of marriage and that she would rather "keep him on his toes" than be his "wife".

I couldn’t send it and he wouldn’t have had to deal with copyright issues if I had been able to get it to him faster I felt horrible when I saw that pop up. I don't speak Spanish, so I may be completely wrong, but I saw another reactor watching this song and he said there was a play on lyrics: When she says "sorry if it splashes you," one of the words in Spanish is Pique (his name). And then when she says "She has the name of a good person, clearly it's not how it sounds," clearly is/sounds like "Clara," which, is the name of the Affair Partner. Again, I don't speak Spanish just what I heard!

Honestly I don't know much about bzrp but he seems to bring out the best of an artist. I cant speak spanish but that hasn't even been a hurdle when I've found such stellar artistry in residente's bzrp session for example. Speaking of residente, not only is his bzrp insane...he has a track called "Rene" where he poured his heart out entirely and it was absolutely beautiful. "Salpique" is a satire since the word in Spanish ends with the last name of Shakira's ex "Piqué" "Sal-Pique", it's still super cool because it tells him not to splash her with his drama that is not her fault And the "Claramente" part is still a satire "Clara-mente" , translates clear but the first part of the word in Spanish is the name of Piqué's lover who is "Clara" and tells him that although the meaning of the name is like nice, well clearly she is not😂😂

You know normal people get affected when a family they put their career aside for 10 yrs crumble cause the man cheated. Losing him doesn't affect (it's not even a loss tbh), losing the family she built affected her especially cause her kids lost their stability.
It’s the way he did it what hurt the most.. so disrespectful. He brought his 22 yr old sidepiece into the family home (that was bought with her money) when Shakira and the kids were overseas. The sidepiece wore her clothes, ate her strawberry jam (that’s how she found out), maybe also slept on their bed. Very disrespectful. I’m sure all women would be hurt and mad if their partner did that.
