During testing the appliance cannot be on, and ip55 doesn't mean completely waterproof, spraying in the vents wouldn't obviously cause damage but in normal use water won't be floating up into those vents. It is completely covered in water therefore it is clearly a proper soaking

no..While conducting IP Test, equipment will NOT be turned ON.
What's the pressure and size of nozzle
This VDO did not show any IP55. may be "IP55" was only model name. not show any proof of protection.
