Moin Dima, hättest du Lust ein Breakdown Video mit Demonstration zu machen, zu dem Kimura von Max Holzer gegen Mohammed Trabelsi? Was hätte es für Möglichkeiten gegeben den noch zu finishen?
simply what gordon showed in his first passing DVD. Only difference is, that you don't care about getting head quarters first and focusing in beating topframes first. Or am I wrong ?
If you are looking for pain moves then start applying some of the catch wrestling techniques and various wrestling techniques. There are definitely ways to make people suffer that we don’t use in jiujitsu because we are looking for the submission over torture. The West Point ride is one I can think of that you might get some use out of but let your training partners know it’s coming 😂 There’s a whole boat load of neck cranks, shin rides, brutal pins, and so on that have been forgotten that could probably be adapted to jiujitsu
I have been talking about this recently. I think the BJJ community doesn’t understand the catch system and is quick to dismiss it. I see the same feelings toward the 10th Planet system. Both have some very effective moves and should be implemented into anyone’s game
It’s not rocket science we’ve been doing it since the early 2000s, if you can pin your opponents shoulders to the mat while applying pressure it makes passing very easy. Also the Routolo brothers do the darce very well because they have long arms and they are young and strong as they get older or with big thick dudes the percentage goes way down.
@@louie8815 started training in the late 90s, studied it like science since then, had all the magazines, book, VHSs,DVDsBJJFanatics etc trained everywhere from GracieHumitato Barra, Riberios brothers to Checkmatwhen it was Brasa (when Ilived in Brazil for 2years)..you’ll rarely meet a mfr that knows more what they’re talking about then me
I've been using it. That and the high tripod with near side underhook like Jochen is my new bread and butter.
Legit as it gets
inflicting pain to gain positional advantage => catch
❤
Catch guys so desperate for relevance
nice video man. Definitely going to incorporate this into my game
Been trying this for a couple weeks now and the few times I’ve done it right the pass is effortless
Thanks Dima
I would like to see how/if a short guy can implement this on a tall opponent.
Does an arm need to be trapped every time or can you use this with double unders?

Another example of, pin your opponent win the fight.
Did you get quervain's tendivositis? Wonder if we have the same injury, maybe this is when my coaching arc begins lol

Yeah definitely only good at darces because of long arms. Must have a phd in biomechanics huh
