you can also use masking tape or washi tape. make sure to lessen their stickiness first though by dabbing it on your jeans 2-4 times because some tapes would peel the paint/paper if it's too sticky.
You know, I hate when I can't think of an idea of what to paint so I look on RUclips and find something really good and then can't paint it because I feel like it's stealing and then I start back at square one 😶
Dude it's for your own entertainment, you gain nothing from it (financially or otherwise) so where's the problem, just enjoy drawing... I've "inspired" myself from others' ideas dozens of times and regret nothing, it always comes out in your own unique style, it's not like it's an exact replica that you're going to sell or something..
