Just installed mine on my FMS bae hawk. I've used other brands and they are good too. What I like about this one is its universal fitting and it's easy to fit and remove. Others require glue so once it's on its on and the 3D print breaks when trying to get it off. I also noticed a slight drop in performance with the ones that get in the way of the airflow. I'm hoping for this company to bring out some mulit coloured or funky colours like green or purple
KM has more features. It has several colors and is programmable & universal (fits ANY inrunner). It also has a low voltage alert. The freewing is inexpensive but is only a single color.
Hey Rich, I am trying to calibrate mine with the same servo tester that you have. I am using separate batteries to power the center burner and the servo tester. Is this possibly causing the issue? Any advice you can share would be appreciated?
@@RCINFORMER Ok, it may not work because I was getting some weird flashing sequences on the little center burner control board LED. I just went ahead and calibrated it in the plane per the instructions and had no issues then. Thanks for the response and sharing your videos. Keep up the great work ;)
Has anyone noticed less thrust from the edf with an afterburner? These are pretty small so should be better but I crashed a few jets with 5280 afterburner on them which had about 25% less thrust with afterburner installed . Looks great tho!

@@gooniac33 Apparently they have been in use in China for a few years now with no problems. The nylon resin has no problems with the heat.

I'm not sure if you can calibrate it with the tester? I only did calibrations on mine through the transmitter throttle stick.

I take u plug y lead to throttle and link rest to cable as I've no instructions with my set

I installed into my throttle via a Y cable into my 6ch RX
Does it work with thrust reverse ESC's ? (FW L-39 80mm) I could still Y in to the throttle ?
I checked with the manufacturer , Freewing ESC can support Y-cable, other brand's ESC won't

It's the easiest to install!
It has a nice low burn at Idle & it can be programmed to start getting bright at any throttle position:)
Heat from the inrunner will eventually cause it to go wonky. Only 2 points of contact isnt such a good idea… but time will tell!
