Asa Hoffman was in the movie "Searching for Bobby Fischer". He was in the darkly lit tournament that Joe Montegna was shown by Bruce Pandolfini. He came up to Pandolfini spouting out "I think I can win a pawn". This seemed kind of weird to Montegna because Hoffman was very fidgety when making the statement. You can almost read Montegna's mind thinking "should I really get my son involved in this eccentricity" .
The flustered reaction at 1:39:30 is so great... "I didn't see the knight could move in an L shape"

With zen mode I think it makes sense objectively to put the board on the right side of the screen. However, I don't know if it's my OCD or a resistance to change, it does really bother me to not have the board centered. I will of course be watching whatever you choose! I can't sleep without your soothing chess ramblings

We hate Zen mode. And by "we" I mean me😎
At &t=3047 (just add to URL), after the black queen goes to b4, white moving the pawn to e5 right away is best, especially against a human (12 ply), but also very slightly better in 32 ply stockfish evaluation. It attacks the pinned knight. e5 happens later, after Black fails to find the precise defensive moves to keep the game from tipping in white's favor. By not playing e5 right away Eric ended up getting a better deal because the precise play was non-intuitive, e.g. the black queen was supposed to retreat to e7 rather than b6, putting it in a pin situation instead of the rook - a very counterintuitive move.
