I only put my Peak Design on the camera is when I take my Z7 out the Bag and want to carry it and I take it off after the assignment so No worries with the Metal Buckles of Peak Design
I have one of these and love it except for the grippiness. To me it's close to a deal breaker. You have to lift the strap up off your shoulder and then swing the camera up to your eye. The strap wont slide. I didn't think I'd mind that but I find that I do, just me.
We’ll see how it goes but so far that’s the only concern I have, but I haven’t really used it enough to know for sure if it’s going to really bother me. I will be on a two week trip soon and I’m taking the lucky strap along with the peak design strap just in case. When I’m on vacation in a hot area, I sometimes wear thin, quick dry T-shirts and if something is gripping my shirt like this, that might get pretty annoying quickly. I’ll try it out for awhile and see how it goes. If it does become an issue, that would be a shame because I love how it looks and feels otherwise.
I like the idea of this, but I love my Peak Design anchors. I broke up with Holdfast because I hated the connection and switched to CleverCo harnesses.
That’s a clever idea, no pun intended. Using the peak design anchors for different brand straps. All I truly want/need is a good quality strap that can be worn Crossbody/sling style and without any parts or pieces that will scratch, gouge, crack, etc. and of course something that is quick and easy to remove. I think peak design is missing an opportunity here. That’s the reason why I went looking and bought the lucky strap. If peak design had made something without those big metal buckles, but still have the same material they use in the slide strap, and still used the anchors they already have, I would have bought it.
I like mine too. Just wish I could remove that metal buckle, but you can’t really because the screw that goes through it holds the little piece the strap slides through when adjusting it. Also the screw would be sticking out too much if you take the buckle off and reinstall the screw. I wish they’d just make one with no metal buckle and whatever is there, put a rubbery coating over it.
Just ordered mine yesterday and its on their Instagram post can't wait to get it
I never notice the Peak Design Connectors permanently on the Camera as I am to busy taking pics

Looks a GREAT Strap. Hope I can get one in S Africa >> or if not at B&H
Not sure if they’re stocked anywhere other than at Lucky in Australia but I assume they will ship anywhere.
I love my Peak Design though
