【PSO2NGS】Techter 'Technique Parry' Update + EX Tri-Shield | (Read Description)

Believe it or not even, I too get complacent and lazy at times... With the recent addition of EX Augs Gradual Pressing, Tri Shield, and my hatred of Jetboots multiweapon.I took another look at things that I could be done differently/better.
With this investigation, I realized that I completely overlooked/neglected better ways to combo into Element Pursuit. Specifically Gifoie parry, which brings us to this video.
Tri-Shield has some value, but I would be cautious of the situations in which you decide to sacrifice your shields.
Note: The DPS numbers might be off as they are not presented for accuracy, but for comparison purposes.

Damn. I love Jetboots multiweapon with Techter...to each their own I suppose.

While using defensive options in an offensive manner is a great strategy, my only gripe with it is that it can create some bad habits or complacency, sometimes both, which can mess your playstyle in the long term if whatever enabled said playstyle gets phased out of the game, what i just said is really funny coming from me since i'm a super safe/defensive player but it's still worth considering for other players that may want to use tri-shield for a brawler styled frontliner.
I'm still gonna try it myself ngl it looks pretty neat.

Oh no, gifoie parry as a techter.
Don't get me wrong, I get the reasoning, I just prefer to parry with swift smash myself.
I'm more impressed of going te/fo over te/bo and te/sl, is it for faster compounds or just being confy?
I always feel like I sacrifice a lot going sl for the 5% crit...

I just so happend to be Te/Fo. With that said, Te/Sl runs into skill point issues, so holding all those blots comes at a price. Though Endure Pain PB Boost, will likely alleviate that.

Dont get me wrong I love the ability to have it on a weapon but they dropped the ball not making it a Techer exclusive ability with Tri Shield.

I have thoughts on how they could have "gamified" tri shield as a Techter skill.
It could be a mini game where successfully playing the class builds a meter that can turn your shields into element obs similar to ramegid-zero from PSO2 Base.
So if you get hit you lose damage because your shields can't be converted. PB and wand lovers can re-generate shields, wand movers adds an additional 2 shields for a total of 5. Thoughts?
