The spearton has a range attack and maybe also the most attacks because you've got the headbutt and the spear throw and the regular normal spear stab I don't know if the machete attack counts when they lose there spear and the blocking while hitting but in main good attacks it has 3 most other units have two
Fun fact the samurai were not part of imperial japan they were controlled by a government known as a shogunate that's why the samurai and imperial japan fought each other in the battle of shrioyama the last of the samurai
