EtherealG for rogue quest you need run bad burgle cards to complete it fast, I think aggro decks will stomp this quest so easily, cutlass is essential for burgle rogue to survive and quest removes that option

I kinda like to see the new cards, but i also hate that the streamer can play earlier with it than "we normal people" Because all the fun experimenting is already done by them, and when the expansion hits, everybody copypastes the streamers deck :/
100 per cent agree. There will be the equivalent of fairly decent optimised net decks from the first minute... means the chance to enjoy playing around and experimenting is lost as you get face stomped every game by pple already just copying best of the streamer decks. Kinda sad.
This kind of stuff is important because people need to see what they´re buying before they spend that amount of money on it. What I do to avoid this stuff is try not to watch more than a couple of videos so a lot of things are still unknown to me day 1.
Nothing is figured out yet. These decks are extremely improvised and not at all optimised. They are tested in an aquarium where everyone is just trying things out and not really trying to win games. There is no meta and what works day 1 won't work after a few strong decks start to settle in.

I think they really did something right with this expansion. I'm not sure how the balance will pan out in the end, but everything I've seen seems overpowered and fun! And if every class can seem that way, then there's no problem at all with it!
That's what I would do, test out some silly cards first to get some ideas and see what people are playing and not start like "I'm going to draft a tier one deck in the first 5 minutes hurr durr"

I know hs players Aren't deep into using critical thinking, but you can bypass a lot of things by just looking at cards and thinking on why they dont work together
@@SaladDongs i dont know about "solid", it seems like they literally just filtered choose 1 mainly because of their 5 drop choice. the bear 5 drop literally is probably the worst card to put in a deck that especially isn't aggro. i dont even think if the card was just a 4/6 taunt/charge for 5 naturally that it would see that much play outside of maybe aggro decks(which this isnt). I feel its rather obvious the only reason its in the deck is because of search filter and not any kind of actual thinking on why it should be in the deck or not. overall it doesn't matter especially since im pretty sure a lot of HS players 1st card game was hearthstone. i was just throwing some playful shade. I look forward to what changes will be made to the deck as it evolves!
I think you do play 1 copy of togwaggle scheme just for the possibility of winning the value matchups. You can use it on Zilliax as shown here, Tess or Hooktusk if you're running that also.
Its kinda inbetween the guldan and malfurion heropower. Deal 3 instead deal 3 face tank or deal 3 heal. I guess its most similar to the double upgraded shadowform but wayyy more consistant. Of course you’re trading the abiloty to bypass taunts for basically a 2 mana discount since you only have to equip every other turn.

I personally think that the rogue quest somewhat removes the use of other weapons like wagglepick, spectral cutlass or the necrium blade. Now, which would be a better deck: Quest Rogue with Tess Graymane or the Spectral Cutlass Rogue with Tess Graymane. One seems great in early game and the other seems great in late.
why do people care about spectral cutlas when this quest is literally just a better replacement for cutlass. Its immunity is good enough and will prob save you around the same amount of health as cutlass overall. and its a perma 2 mana 3/2 weapon.
There is no problem in that, it's just a question of value. Now the burglar rogue is again in the meta. 3/2 weapon with immunity is good as long as you are not dealing with wide boards. I have played rogue games enough to predict the lose condition of rogue in this meta. It's simply running out of single target removal.

I don't know to how many of the cards the ppl had access but my guess would be all of them. So the ranks in the video have absolutely no meaning in regards to the deck quality in standard. But then again the decks on the normal server around lvl 21 could be worse xD. Just wanted to inform you :)
That is actually not true, at least not for Standard. There Shaman is on the Throne, then there is nothing for like a lightyear and then another class might come, which in fact might be Rogue. Also the ability to generate Value is certainly part of being a control deck, but not the only one. And while Rogue is able to generate value, it lacks a lot of other tools that are necessary for a Control deck, and that tool might be the new quest. Also in case you mean that Rogue actually had some form of controldeck in the past, not really...Maybe the old pre-nerf Kingsbane Rogue because that was at the Time infinite Value. But other than that i cant think of any.

@@conways3897 You mean Shaman. Shaman quest is Double battlecry. Shaman's quest is actually one of the onlly ones that actually synergises perfectly with the deck it's in. LLike you need to play a handfull of battlecry minions to be rewarded with getting double battlecry. Druid's quest is end a bunch of turns with unspent mana in order to get choose both, or the Warrior one being attack a bunch of times with weapons in order to just get a 4/3 chunky boi, theyy don't really go together that well. The Rogue one though is so meaningless, get 4 cards from other classes, while at the same time giving them a 2 cost spell that half completes it on it's own. If Clever Disguise didn't exist the Rogue quest would be fine. As it is though it should be 5 or 6 cards to complete it. Can just every game complete the quest by turn 4. Then for the rest of the game has the most tempo imaginable.
Hearthstone players: the Rogue quest is just too easy to complete for how quickly it can generate overwhelming value, maybe the condition should go from 4 to 5 Time traveler: fuck I still don't know what year it is
The thing is, I feel like the druid deck is more midrangey because of the late game fuel issues I feel it has. This deck gets destroyed by shaman, no doubt.
