This was a breakdown of a project I did back in September and decided to do a project breakdown / tutorial video for it. Hope you enjoyed it!

This is crazy Im in the process of doing all this for my content I started last year but got to busy with music and shows but now Im already working at this process.
Amazing how you put so much info in just over ten minutes ... even if someone needs to slow down the rate to .75 or .5 (ha ha ha) that is still a heck of alot of data ... !

wow this is awesome! I'm just getting started but this is amazing to watch. Not ready yet to buy the clothing tool though, so i will start creating a lot of naked people I guess😂😂
hahaha I feel you. It's pretty pricey. They do have a 30 day free trial if you want to test it out.
Also you can make basic clothing in Blender as well using their cloth simulation tool. There are a lot of tutorials on it & that's how I started too. It's no where near as good as Marvelous Designer but it gets the job done.

Great tutorial bro earned a new sub! Got everything working but of course some bugs. When I Export from blender to marvelous designer 12. When I import fbx file the avatar is not the same shaders as the render view on blender?. 2.) when I do the pose animation so my clothes can fit avatar shrinks 💀😂. Something with scale &sizing ?

amazing tutorial as always, but the minute i press BIND using the rig gns - my scalp cap gets super off with the hair i made aswell... it still got the shrinkwrap modifier on though

when i export my model from daz3d to blender with shoes wearing on it and after i apply rig gns to model. Shoes are dislocated from the mode

I try to import my blender animation and everything works fine but as soon as i drop in a garment from the store all my animation on the timeline disappears and i can't seem to get it back even if i import the pose. Anyone know if there is a fix for this? Great vid btw!

Hey man, I can't seem to get around this issue... I followed all the steps but when I import the Mixamo animation and hit bind the arms and hands don't really line up and look awkward. I tried using the adjusting tool but it didn't work well. Any help would be appreciated, thanks 🙏
Do the arms intersect? Or do they just look awkward? If they intersect then the solution is in my latest character series. But if it just looks awkward then I would suggest adjusting the sliders in mixamo and then maybe manually adjusting some bones in blender (I’ve had to do that before)

what blender version are you using? I'm on 3.3 and when I bind the animation to the character it morphs the G8 Male to a weird shape
I'm using 3.3. This is actually a mixamo issue. I've had it happen to me recently as well. Not sure what exactly causes it, but I've been able to work around it. Reach out to me on IG (@salfolio) I'll try to give some tips on what helped me fix the issue.
Any reason why In Blender (after I select the proportional editing mode) I am having trouble moving just one selected vertices of the scalp instead of the whole mirror scalp?
It might be because you either don't have the mirror applied properly or your proportional editing influence sizing is off. You can message me on IG (@salfolio) if you're still having trouble.

Hey how do you add shoes
Good question. The easiest way I've found is by downloading free 3D models of shoes on cgtrader or other platforms (turbosquid, sketchfab, etc). Then importing them into your scene and rigging them to your character (while your character is in it's default a-pose). I'm creating another tutorial soon that is gonna go into more detail about clothing and adding shoes. Hope that helps!
where is the links for eyes textures u said link in bio but you didnt mention it
good question. I originally had them as part of the project file but people were having issues with some of the files in that zip so I unlinked them. You can use the ones that come with Daz3D for now and then edit them in photoshop to get the color of eyes you want. Sorry about that!
update: just screenshot the eyes in this video, crop it. and use it as a texture file

Y’all know any free alternative to Rig GNS?
its not necessary, you can also just import your model as an FBX into mixamo and rig it & animate there. Then re-export it back into blender.

I found a crack version
I have only done it with the pro version because I use the genesis 8 models. I am not sure if it works with the home versions.
