Hi Jo .no sadly i moved out Dublin in 2013 with my family when the recession hit Ireland hard and me .i was in construction industry. Live uk now .Dublin was great place grow up in great atmosphere and crack between Dublin people. I feel sorry for the old people. Im in my late 40's .wish could turn clock back . Enjoy whats left of it 😪😪
@Graham Stephen R yes pal and rest of Ireland never be the same as we all knew it sadly 😪 feel sorry for the older generation and younger kids growing up into a stranged and horrible country with cronies for government. Wish i could live there again miss it so much .but not the way its gone over the last 10 years or so .
Yes mate Italian 90 was deadly the atmosphere in the pubs when was on so great .good times .love go back to them days ni worries in the world just hanging around with your pals .love go back there now 🤗🤝👍
Looks the same to me, I thought they would have a few more new buildings actually. I know the Dublin council keeps rejecting the building of skyscrapers on the grounds that it would cause skyline pollution, silly argument imo, while housing becomes a huge issue due to growing population they cry about some skyscrapers being a eye sore.
I am here to look at the new Dublin. I came to Romania about 6 years ago. When I saw this, my eyes started watering. My childhood is in this video. Wow😔
We would walk almost every weekend from UCD to the city centre for shopping around Capel street, Moore st, and Parnell street. We would end the day with bus 11 or 49A back home. Your path mirrors some of the paths we would take and it was nice to see the city still a bit busy even during lockdown. It was dead quiet in early June of last year when I left, thank you for the walk around.
I’m about to cry because I was in Dublin from the beginning of this year to study abroad but the due to the pandemic of COVID-19, I’ve had to go back to my country Japan😿🇯🇵 I can only stay here about two months but I am really love in this country lovely Ireland.
Nice video, except one thing...where is the city centre? Trinity College, Temple Bar, Grafton Street? North side of the Liffey is the city centre? First I've heard.
Dear Jc Valero, thank you for uploading this very nice Walk! I really longing for to come back some Day! Please stay all in good Health and maybe.......you could do a Walkingtour during Chrismas throu Dublin? I never saw that. would be great. Greeting from Germany and best Wishes ;)
There is one hospital in Dublin ( Saint Vincent hospital ) since August 2020 no history of death case in covid-19 patient, thousands of patient are healed in just 10days or 8days.. hope blogger or media personality will cover this and find out whats their secrets... if you have relatives or friends with covid-19 affected then its safe for them to bring on this hospital... good luck and God bless us all
Dublin is the real Capital of Ireland I'm a cork man and accept that Dublin is the capital of Ireland some cork rebel's need to grow up accept that Dublin is the real Capital move on
Moore St is dead. After a long illness, it's with sadness I say this. I've been watching the slow and painful dimise of the most famous street in Ireland. To look at it you'd be forgiven thinking save what. There is no history offered up to the public about the history and the people who lived and died for our freedom from England. It's a national disgrace, local and national governence of this street was left to these Wasters in power. Two stalls left in this once famous street. It's like walking into Glassnevin Cemetery walking down Moore St these days. At One time you could here five for twenty the orange's from one end of town to the other end. Then Henry st at Xmas time, Arnotts and Cleary's windows and the stalls selling decorations and cheeky Charlie's. Memories it saddens me because all that is gone now. What we're left with is a city with no soul. I'm not exaggerating these point's, or being overly melancholic. This is my history, but I'm disappointed with the heartlessness of the people in power. They have never lifted a finger to save our heritage from developers and Greed, the brown envelopes and tents are still around in disguise. Up the Dub's, ✊☘️🇮🇪. A Dublin Nationalist and still proud of our people.
I miss Ireland so much !! Beautiful city and awesome ambiance ~ Nice walk around Dublin 😍👍👌

This is O’ connell street. The GPO [General Post Office] in O'Connell St is considered the specific point for measurements to/from the City Center.
