RECIPES FROM THIS VIDEO:
FAKE MANTI PASTA:
--------------
-150g vegan chicken
-1 Tbsp tomato paste
-1/2 TBSP harissa paste
-1 Tsp each cumin, paprika
-1/2 Tsp chili
-salt to taste
Stir fry for a few minutes.
-80g short pasta
Cook al dente.
Add to the pan with some pasta water.
Let it cook 3-4 more mins.
Yogurt sauce:
-75g vegan yogurt (I used soy yogurt)
- 1/2 TSP garlic powder
-salt to taste
-1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
-a handful chopped mint
Mix.
Serve the pasta with the sauce.
CRUNCHWRAP:
-------------
-1 wrap
-hummus
-leftover vegan chicken
-kimchi
-vegan feta
Build your wrap and grill for a few mins on each side
FAVORITE RICE BOWL:
-----------
Rice:
-2 espresso cups rice
-3 espresso cups water
-salt to taste
Bring to a boil.
Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20mins.
Teriyaki broccoli:
-1/4 head of broccoli, cut in florets
Sauté in oil for a few minutes.
-1 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
Toss the broccoli with it and set aside.
Ground tofu:
-1/2 block (100g) firm tofu
Shred or crumble on a baking tray.
Toss with some oil and salt.
Bake at 200C/400F for 20mins.
-a thumbsize piece of ginger
-1 cloves garlic
Fry in some oil.
-1 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
-1 Tbsp soy sauce
-1/2 Tbsp agave or maple syrup or sugar
-1 Tsp vinegar
-a splash of water
-1/2 TSP 5 spice
Let it bubble, then stir in the baked tofu and let it cook for 5-10mins.
Serve in rice with the broccoli and teriyaki sauce.
Gochujang sauce:
-1 TBSP gochujang
-1 TBSP ketchup
-1 TSP soy sauce
-1 TSP agave syrup
-1 TSP sesame oil
-some fresh minced ginger
Mix.

LOL food blogger money. Of course her first apartment (without having any post-secondary education and just graduating high school last year) will be huge. I don't get those people that complain about living alone at 18/19. It's entitled and seeking sympathy. Wait till you're older, married (with or without kids), you'll want more space. I think people like her get toxic positivity in the comments. No accountability, just encouragement and support no matter what. Oh well, we'll see how long it lasts.

It's funny because you think when you go to college you're an adult but what you really are is straddling the fence between childhood & adulthood. You've already seen some dramatic differences between living completely alone, & living at home with your Parents or at college. Now, you really are embarking on adulthood. Enjoy the journey!

Also, tempeh wasn’t always my favorite either, but I boil it 10 min to cut bitterness helps.
Würde auch aufpassen mit gewissen Ausschnitten, wo man aus dem Fenster sehen kann. Es gibt genug seltsame Leute, die deine Wohnung dadurch finden können😅
Also RUclipsr, gerade mit großer Reichweite, muss man da sehr vorsichtig sein

Ein paar haben es schon gesagt, mir ist es aber wichtig auch nochmal drauf hinzuweisen: pass auf dich auf und überlege ob du die Sicht aus deinen Fenstern und deine unmittelbare Ungebung zeigen willst. Leider hatten andere RUclipsrinnen schon Probleme mit Stalking o.ä.

Not really an old lady thing to say at all --another RUclipsr I watched got a stalker after doing exactly that. She only showed one view out of her new apartment and a weirdo was able to pin point where she was based off the view. Always better to play it safe online.

Tempeh is amazing tossed in gochujang, rice vinegar, a touch of tamari, & sesame oil & bake on parchment paper lined baking tray-or crumbled into pasta sauce. So versatile. I hope it’s better this time. Happiness in your new home!

Just an idea for Tempeh/Tempe, I reccomend you to buy natural flavor (without marination) and look up some Indonesian recipes for tempe dishes. Indonesian has the most variation when it comes to tempe dishes since tempe is originaly from Indonesia. I'm sure you will get a lot of inspirations about tempe from Indonesian people. Good luck!

For the french press - you need to grind the coffee not so fine, more so on the coarse side. So its in bigger pieces - sorry, not english. :) Thats how the flavour comes, if its so fine, its going to be blend.

I didn't like tempeh at first, but now I crave it sometimes...which kind of sucks 'cause it's gotten harder to find here lol. when I was in college and living in Nashville there was a restaurant that made a REALLY good tempeh Rueben sandwich, so I miss that. one thing I've heard though is that if your tempeh get just a little too old, that can cause a funky flavor. even if you just bought it.
