In todays video, I wanted to share with you guys my journey into moving out! I am 22 years old and this is my first place on my own! I am so excited for this new journey and I am so grateful to be able to share it with you! I hope something I have said in today's video inspired you or motivated you to step out on your own!

I moved out at the age of 19. I lived by myself. I’ve never had a roommate or a boyfriend live with me. I was pursuing acting during that time and had an overnight job at a hospital in Hollywood, CA. I’m in my late 30s now and I am proud of myself for all that I’ve accomplished and how I’ve held my own. So congrats to all you ladies who take on that level of responsibility so young. My best advice is if you’re not in school, stack jobs if you can.

I just moved out on my own after renting a room from strangers for 5 years and I can literally cry tears of joy from closing that toxic chapter in my life! I'm 25 and I can finally be comfortable! I feel extremely blessed and it wasn't easy but im 3 weeks in and I feel better than ever. I was so stressed at first cause I had a few moments where I just cried wishing my dad was alive to help with my move cause I didnt have any help and you know dads make things happen, but it is done now and I Thank GOD!! Your videos come out at literally ironc times, so relatable and I hope the new journey for us stays positive 💚💚💚💚
Awww thanks for sharing a bit of ur testimony sis. Even tho I can’t relate (I’m still living with my family, with hopes of moving out in the near future), what u shared in ur comment about what went through has touched me. What I know for sure sis, is that God doesn’t waste a SINGLE thing that we’ve gone through... He uses our ashes (our flaws, our mistakes, our short-comings, our pain) and makes something absolutely breathtakingly beautiful out of it. And NO DOUBT He’s gonna do just that AND MORE for u... He says it in His Word, “ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power (God’s power) that works in us.” ~ Ephesians 3:20. So sis, when the journey gets rough (because it will, again) at some point in time, u just hold onto to the fact that He’s ALWAYS good and He can ALWAYS be trusted that He’ll either take the “storm” (s) around us completely away (Mark 4:35-41) or He’ll invite us to trust Him even deeper as He steadies our hearts WHILE the storm is going on around us. Whichever one He chooses to do, we can be confident that He always choses the absolute best routes that would benefit us the most and also, His kingdom the most. Love u sis and I hope that this encourages u as u continue on life’s journey. Blessings💕💕💕

Listen, I feel you being a daddy’s girl because mine raised me by himself since the age 11 ( I’m 32 now). Now that he’s my only living parent, we’ll be living together forever. I love this video because you deserve all of it. I’m just so happy for you!💕

Having a parent or parents that are understanding and supportive is such a blessing. I’m not ready just yet to move out of my moms home, but you’re an inspiration especially being so young with your own.

God willing, I'd like to move out of my parent's house by October/ November of next year and I'll be 23 by then. In the meantime though, I'm definitely saving up, learning about budgeting, etc.

I’m a social worker and at times I come in contact with young adults and it’s amazing how many don’t know these essential details. Bless you for sharing it ❤️👊🏾👊🏾
We’re the same age and I just moved into a apartment myself. I have roommates but it’s set-up to where I have my own room, full bathroom and walk-in closet. It’s a nice set-up for me as it’s close to my university and this gives me the chance to be independent. It’s not my own but I’m fine with the roommates at the moment because it makes it easier for me to balance school, work and everything else. My journey before this I wouldn’t have thought I’d be able to be in my own space right now so I’m extremely grateful. Congrats to you 💕 Here’s to this new chapter in our life 🥂
I haven’t watched yet BUT i literally just prayed last night for my own place and that i’d be shown resources and how to do so (if it’s in his will) and here comes this upload less than 12 hours later. Are you kidding me? Lol it could be a coincidence but i’m a bit excited 😅
Also, it’s so refreshing to have a young woman talk about her loving relationship with her father! I always get a lot of flack for this as a 31 year old lol, but girl- yassss our dads are life and I am to see someone else gas’s they dad 🥰🥰

Just came across your channel ( this is my first video btw) & you're an inspiration. I'm 19 going on 20 in a few weeks & I still live with my parents. Every time I watch apartment/moving out videos... I always see people 18,19,20, & sometimes even 17 or 16 moving out and I feel discouraged in some ways. I just think to myself like " Damn people exactly my age & even younger are moving out & I still live with my parents". God willing, I do want to move out but it might be another year maybe 2 until I finally do.

This video was amazing and very informative! I lived on my own starting my junior year of college and that truly taught me so much about myself. Once I left college I moved in with my fiancé, my now husband, which was something totally different. Considering I am on 23 I have discovered so much about myself from living on my own and living with someone. It is very important to do what is best for you and for you only. Love your channel ❤️

i’ve been looking for one bedroom or studio apartments or even get a roommate in nyc since last year. had my first job at 18, so my spending was immature & excessive. my credit is bad due to having to pay off loans. i want to move out from my parents place cus they are too toxic & unacceptable but they also are there for me or whatnot. if i mention it to them, they’re going to want to help paying & i don’t want that. i’m very independent so ion like dat. i’m 22, about to graduate college & i’m ready to leave like last year. idk what to do honestly. but i really hope to move out by fall when rona leaves in time 🤞🏾

Jae buying toilet is a very big deal😂 when I got my first place I started buying the biggest packages of tissue so that I didn't have to keep buying it..my original pack lasted me like 6 months
Tip on meals: get a Crock-Pot and a Crock-Pot cookbook and go to town. Best thing I did

I’m 25, I got my first place at 21! It was a cute 481 sq ft studio apartment and I decorated it very similar to yours and did some tricks to make it look bigger as well! Lol very cute, I love the decor 👍 @faceovermatter

I’ve only had three jobs and I was really good at saving money but for the nursing program which lasts for two years it tells u that u will not be able to work so Idk what would be the best way to start saving ?
