      Brilliant band, young, passionate and talented. I’m in my 70’s and saw some of the greatest artists including Jimi Hendrix. I loved this band as soon as I heard them play. By the way ALL musicians are influenced by others including Led Zeppelin, it’s called being inspired

      Most of the high notes are forceful falsetto; you can tell by how the notes split into two sounds on the highest parts. It's impressive, Chris Cornell probably did it best.

      I was at the Nashville show in July. They started the tour there a few days after starcatcher came out. We were the first ones to hear the new album live.

    Greta van fleet’s “Light my love” was so impactful and powerful that I listened to it every free moment I had and more often than not, cried over how it made my soul feel. I have never in my life been so obsessed with a band. If you haven’t gone through and listened to AT LEAST one full album, I am BEGGING you to not rob yourself of the experience of Greta van Fleet.

      Not to be an elitist type, but this is the easiest form of vocals in the realm of the art.
      I'm no Mongolian throat singer myself, but this level of vocal fry can come naturally actually from living/working in a loud environment. T

      Lol at first glance they sound pretty similar, similar singing styles, but after listening to them side by side they sound nothing alike. Robert’s voice is much thinner and raspier, Josh’s voice is fuller sounding and more like Bon scott from ac/dc.

    watched them in concert a couple of years ago. i have always like the band and i honestly did not think they were going to be so good live. the guitarist literally played behind his head for 15 minutes. really cool show.

    Greta Van Fleet, I heard that the name came from an elderly lady from their hometown near Detroit. Her name was on a marquee at a VFW hall or something. Awesome musicians, hope only the best for them.

      They're from a lot further north than Detroit lol
      They're from Frankenmuth, which is up around saginaw.

      It’s true my brothers wife is from frankenmuth and we stayed at the Bavarian inn and all the rooms were named after the original settlers there and I remember walking by the Van Fleet room several times thinking it was awesome.

      I just remembered reading that Greta Van Fleet was someone they actually know. I'm pretty sure she knows they named the band after her.

      @@dangrimes5078 yes, I googled how they got the name. It is an 88 year old lady, she is a blue grass musician from their hometown. Her name is Gretna Van Fleet. They dropped the n in Gretna so it's easier to pronounce. I heard them on a radio interview that it was on a marquee on a VFW or some Hall in their hometown when they were trying to think of a name for the band.
