The evolution of this piece epitomises all that is good about the art of woodturning and the love of wood. I was really knocked out by storey that this piece tells. Thank you for sharing. Brian

I just got through watching your chip & dip bowl. It is absolutely gorgeous. I'm going to try something like this in the near future.

I turned this before Christmas and saved posting it for after so's not to spoil the surprise.
14" Oak Burr, I bet that is impressive, I would love to get my hands on something like that.
Thanks for watching and very best of wishes for the New Year

Excellent idea dealing with that crack. I'd been using epoxy to fill it, but I like your idea better, great job!

thank you very much. I use Colron Finishing oil, which is a blend of Tung Oil and resins to nourish and strengthen the wood before applying a top coat of wax or friction polish.

Very nice work and a very good video, but, why does everyone think we want to listen to your taste in music? I come here to learn how to turn, not to become a music critic! I refuse to join any site that uses annoying background music.
