  • The end of the year is nigh and we all know what that mean... library inventory! Here are my tips and a quick walkthrough on how to do library inventory using Follett Destiny. Happy scanning!

Any donations will probably truly buy me a coffee... I rarely treat myself to Starbucks, but with a three-year-old wild child at home, a full-time job, trying to grow my RUclips channel, and training for my first half marathon, I need all the coffee lol.

Thank you so much! I've had several people ask me about weeding... guess that will be my next video! :)

Thank you for the tips!! I have a question: as I’m scanning for inventory I’ll hear the “blah” beep and destiny will say the book has been marked as lost. Then I scan the book again and it’ll “bleep bleep” and add it to the list. Is just the one scan enough or should I be scanning a previously “lost” book twice so that I see it come up on the inventory list and I get the happy beep? 😂

Funny you should ask... I've been wondering the same thing! So I just tested it out... it turns out that you don't have to scan it twice! I've always done it twice just in case... guess I didn't need to!
