of course you can mow the grass in rain, however the question should have been should you mow wet grass? I would say no if you want a nice looking lawn

Tim, I wonder if it's possible for you to do a "how to" on restringing the whipper-snipper and the best feed/head to use? I always stuff it up and end up with cord going everywhere.

all the yards in my area desperatly need a mow but the ground is just saturated. at least there is no flooding like other areas in NSW

thats because its short, and its almost mulching the lawn, i can tell you from experience there wouldnt be much in the bag except water

Thanks, I hate it :P (but great demo why it's not such a great idea - all those track marks left behind by the mower. Many people in my neighbourhood literally hours after heavy down pours when the sun finally came out charged to mow their grass, leaving such a mess behind instead of waiting a day or two for the water to dry out!)

If you dont want to cut all of it because some blades of grass wont cut when wet. Also you will have clumps as well as damage your mower over time. You can but its a dumb idea
