Although the actual Fraser's Ridge was filmed in Scotland, this location near Blowing Rock, North Carolina certainly can make you feel like you are in the right stomping grounds of the Fraser Clan and all the families that resided on Frasers Ridge and neighboring communities.
It's probably the closest I could find that both resembled the filming location in Scotland and the description in the book. 🙂 Thank you for watching. We'll see what season 7 has instored for more location comparisons. 🙂

They also have a big gathering here in North Carolina for Outlander fans in this same area. Stars from the show come to North Carolina to celebrate Outlander with the fans.
