I hope you have a Nomad review planned, I await with baited breath for your take on IMO the dopest looking starter ship before I either buy the game package or reevaluate my options.
Just like a Yacht, the Origin 890 Jump wasn't supposed to be a battleship. It's designed to please the eyes of those who are looking at it. Like a regular yacht, this ship was meant to be the billionaire's crib, a place of pleasure and enjoying luxury. Although it can be used as transport or cargo ship, but it will not meet the requirements like the other ship that are designed for transport and loading cargo. Let's just enjoy the beauty of 890 Jump, a luxury vessel for 'money isn't a problem' kind of people.
Thank you Pilot for such a well crafted video showing all the glories of a ship I personally have no desire to own, in game or pledge for!!. It is indeed the epitome of Origin's desire for luxurious excess married with technical excellence.
I have been waiting for this video. I loved it on Pathfinder and I couldnt figure out why your channel hadnt blown up by then. This video made me fall in love with this big beauty. Thank you!
There is one ship that always manages to get me back into the game and its the 890 Jump. When it was released it was the first thing i upgraded to. I hope they will give some updates. mostly that it gets updated to the stats on the shippage. Ive seen the original video like 4 times already. But it's one of the best 890 video's there is.
It really needs an update to fit with the 400i styling, not a lot but more storage and finer detail to things. That top level of the atrium needs to be completely redone, it's awful.... and let's not talk about the awful plastic chairs...... Then they just need to quad all the current turrets (maybe bump them up 1 size) and add 2 turrets either side of the dinning room and 2 in a similar position on the under side, all with quad panthers. At that point it will be right not only for balance, but also for the lore of why the ship even exists, since it is Origin's tailored alternative to rich people buying Idris and Polaris and converting them to luxury ships with massive offence and defence. Other than those 2 things, the ship really is nice... although I would like a better solution with the back cargo area… maybe even the addition of a rover garage... Seems it needs a lot of rethinking. Don't get me wrong, it is nice atm, but it could be so much better given the current standards CIG have set for ships.
Your writing is excellent. You won me over with the "evocative" Titan Avenger video. Yup. You are an excellent screenwriter, in addition to your video cinematography.
One correction and one caveat, the cargo storage is 388SCU, and right now there’s a major debilitating bug on the ship… the ASOP terminal store feature is broken so if you set it up with a nice Spartan in the Belly and a 325A in the hanger it is a waste of time since you can’t store it. You end up basically having to claim it every time which is extremely annoying.
Just bought one in game from selling dr….I mean perfectly legal cargo. Amazing ship. I have to differ on one point though. I rammed an Idris at Xenothreat with an 890J and the Idris came off 2nd best
huh, i seem to have missed this one before! good to see you in action again, very much looking forward to more of your reviews! I would suggest to do the Zeus next, but i guess we've gotta wait a bit before that happens 😅 how about The Cookie (Nomad)? or the MISC Reliant Kore? i imagine those would give you plenty of "ammunition"! 😂
It is an exploration ship and is listed as an exploration ship. The 890 Jump is not a transport ship. The backer or kickstarter pledge promise says exploration ship all over the advertising.
It looks like a 2018 water yacht in space. I like the look of spaceships not some wealthy oil tycoon’s boat. But you gave a good review. You do a good job. The 890junk, that thing is one ship I would never buy or want. I do understand if people like it and it’s fine to do so. But I feel it looks stupid as $#/+. Same with the 400. It’s $#/+ also. The 600 at least looks like a futuristic space craft. I also don’t own polished gold oversized dark glasses and drill holes in my teeth to set diamonds.
Looks like it was built by Saud-Kruger lol
Legit! And I wish it was in ED
The Whale lol
Pilot content is amazing content. Always worth watching again.
i agree
And remember folks, this liner is in the top 1% of all liners out there!
Don't care if it's a re-upload, always great content

I did not know this video was a thing you did.
Amazing!

"flying it too close to a planet might change the tides" lol, well, if Charlie don't surf
Beautiful music choice, algorithm do your thing!
Bro, plz do more ships for Star Citizen, if you could. Do a review on the C1 Spirit.
He's quitting youtube, unfortunately, we most likely arent getting any new ship reviews
Why??
@@imitheus if you check his community posts, he has his reasoning there
Thanks for letting me know. Going to silently mourn for one of my favorite channels ever. Thanks for eveything Pilot!
Would love to see a review of the 400

I really don't want to, but I have to.
Please, look at his "community" tab.
I'm sorry.

10% star citizen
90% top gear lmfao
Does it compare to the cutter
Sorry... But it looks like a combination of a speed boat & a Pelican with its mouth open...
"Thing looks like thing" is the laziest kind of design critique. What does faulty image recognition capability have to do with anything?
