One of the great insults in history is modern attempts to turn this into some sort of "international victory". Garbage. It was a British victory fought mostly by British lads. Salute to those brave foreign pilots but even taken in totality they were still the minority and they werent fighting for our country they were fighting for their own. We just generously gave them the means to do it.
Yes mostly British but it WAS an international effort. Indeed Britain would not have defeated Hitler at all but for help from our ALLIES. If anybody is guilty of "modern" revisionism it would be you if you were to suggest otherwise.
@@RussTube59 Read the roll call at the end of pilots who fought and sacrificed. Stop practicing stolen glory. This was one of Britains finest hours and stealing it to make foreigners feel better about the shame of defeat is a disgrace. How many statues honoring British pilots and troops exist in their countries I wonder? How many Polish statues are there honoring Britain? No they have the blind arrogance to claim we "betrayed" them. And then act like they won the frigging Battle of Britain because 100 and so pilots were allowed to fly. Disgusting arrogance and stolen glory. Just like what youve done.

Ridiculous. End credits. Polish pilots. With 141 pilots the second largest group after the 1822 pilots of the "RAF and other Commonwealth". Of course, the Poles are listed somewhere at the end...
Never mind I understand now that you’re saying the list is based on the amount of pilots from each country. I noticed that too and I think it’s likely just what country first came to mind of the writer.

Yeah after so many Indian personnel fought for the British army. Much higher than the British army itself. The Indians are marked as other commonwealth 🙅🏻♀️
5 million Brits served in the British Army compared to 2 million in the Indian Army. Also Britain had a population of 40 million compared to India which had 140 million.
“1000 words in English” seems like a fitting book to read with where his lack of fluency got him earlier in the film, very nice detail
