u could get a monkey knowledge upgrade in the military knowledge section that makes the sniper cheaper to buy in the start and u could get a elite defender

@@AnaRitaFlute It's very possible I'm still working on getting the monkey knowledge set up to get there. However I did find an alternative strategy that works without needing to reinvest monkey knowledge (most likely). Set up is Monkey Village down first to 0-0-2, then buy 4 snipers and upgrade as following: 0-2-4, 2-0-4, 2-1-0,2-0-1. You will need to sell the farm to get the last sniper to 2-0-1. I'm currently playing on dark castle.
When snipers can no longer destroy leads after the most recent update.

This strategy requires the monkey knowledge for $200 extra starting cash. Should be THE MOST important thing for you to unlock. Just use a 2, 0-2-4 snipers instead if you don't have it yet! Earn some monkey money and get the $200 extra monkey knowledge starting cash!
only work if you unlock the 200 extra starting cash and sell 5% more. other then that it will not get 5% less moeny
Im at lvl 92 and i would have to respec my monkey knowledge to even get it and I haven’t even started on primary monkey knowledge but im poor af because all i do is buy monkey farmers and useless skins THAT DO NOTHING! so I’m just gonna sit here bored in quarantine praying that i can get 2000 monkey money soon..

025 sniper is actually so good. It’s cheap and has literally every type of popping power: camo, lead, purple, moab, grouped...
Edit: since everybody keeps asking, 025 no longer pops lead as of a recent update. You probably shouldn't trust year-old info about a game that's constantly receiving updates

So, this is basically the successor to the "Deflated Specter" strategy, for the time being...
Update: despite the nerfs, it's still possible on most(?) maps. Get TWO 002 villages and a hero (Obyn, Ezili, Brickell if there's water, or Sauda if you have Mana Shield and Pre-Game Prep). As long you have high Military and Hero knowledge (with a little Support) and the hero can pop pretty much all the leads, this still works.
(Pending yet another retaliatory Sniper nerf, at least...)
First, get 0-0-2 Village, then 2x Sniper 0-2-4 (first), 1x Sniper 2-0-2 (Strong), sell the Village, and get 1x Sniper 1-0-2 (strong). I was able to beat any single lane deflation. I get up to 53ish on multi-lane maps.
You can actually get 2 snipers at 2-0-2 if you only upgrade the first two snipers to 0-2-3 while you have the village. Since the fourth tier isn't affected by the village, it doesn't matter if you buy it after you sell. If you have the military discounts and starting cash MK then you'll end up with 40 left over. I have not tested this on multi-lane maps, however, so it might not matter

I just beat Dark Castle Deflation effortlessly a few days ago with the New Defender.

There's a new strategy I found myself, I simply just put Gwendolin and 2 snipers 0-2-4, after the end of round 56, Gwendolin reaches lvl 10 and when round 59 comes I use the Firestorm ability and problem solved.

@@ArtieDuels Here's the new: 2 0-2-4 snipers again BUT with Adora and a 0-0-3 wizard near her or around her range so she can pop the camo lead bloons on round 59 (idk how much knowledge you've got, but I use this, it may not be the best, but I made it myself)
Gotta say that my favorite tower was 2.0.5 sniper but this might change which path I choose from now on. Thanks for the tip
Ok I have an updated guide for at least resort might work for others.
First get an 0-2-4 sniper and 2-0-4 sniper then spam some 1-1-0 snipers until your out of money.
Then at round 59 sell your 0-2-4 sniper and spam 1-1-0 snipers when the camo leads come.
Edit: instead of 1-1-0 sniper spam for round 59 a 0-2-3 mortar monkey would probably work.
Awesome video I did not know you could get that sniper it is what I've always wanted in deflation mode and you are giving me the present. It looks absolutely hilarious with big tower and small balloons on and vice versa

My usual strat for deflation is Obyn + 401 ninja + 402 wizard + 400 alchemist
(But it can't beat muddy or bloody puddles 😢)
I beat deflation on every map with benjamin (trojan) 402 and 203 monkey ace with 402 alchemist and a discount village to buy everything which is then sold for a camo village
GUYS it still world on update rn (update 26) BUT u need MK:
More Cash from primary ( gets +200 at the start of each game , except CHIMPS ofc )
Military Concription from military ( 2/3 money for first millitary )
better sell deals from support ( 5% more sell value )

mark kennedy roallos, yes it worked on workstation too. Elite Defender to the upper side of the road on the left side of the slide, where the moab’s came from. The only critical rounds are 52 and 60, so i used the top button, wich slows the track, in 52 and the bottom button, wich changes the track in 60. Still pretty close, but worked. 👍🏻

Even with the 200 it's not enough as you can see his sniper costs 285 which is never the case. He has many knowledge buffs that should've been mentioned honestly

You can go for 2 024 snipers instead (no MK required), but it won't beat every map and isn't as reliable
If you’re wondering, to get shrapnel u need more MK than just the starting cash.

I have been using this strat to farm xp on dark castle since it's rework lol.
i used a 015 sniper to get xp for the rest of my sniper upgrades on the frozen over map I think?
For beginner with no $200 cash. Try this:
1) use Quincy
2)put 0-0-1 village for discount
3)buy two 0-2-4 sniper. Put them beside the village
4)upgrade village to 2-0-1
5) put Quincy down in a good spot
6) start the game
7)spam quincy power early on to level him up if u want. By lvl 58 u can use his 2nd power.
This works on beginner maps. Havent try on the rest.

I don't have the monkey knowledge point that gives an extra 200 starting cash (ISAB, you missed the part where you mention that you need it to get elite defender) so I only had a 0-2-4 sniper on dark castle, but I threw down two 0-3-0 dartlings bc I thought 0-2-4 couldn't pop leads lol
You can beat almost every map on hard With this tower u build Free monkey farm to heli farm to hero(i use benjamin + a 230 farm ) build sniper 022 and canon (of You cant build sniper 102) go up to 025 on sniper Upgrade heli to 320 and start to Spam random Towers and also u if u can i recommend building submarine on 240 to one shot zomg
U might have to Do it in an other order on some maps

Here's one that requires less Monkey Knowledge: Pat Fusty, 024 Dart, 202 Super and 400 Alch all near each other.
A solution to the nerfage is just getting 4-0-2 ninja and top path stronger stim alchemist, and if you're really feeling it, you can also pop down a hero.
There is another strategy tho, the dark knight with plasma, and 1 sharp shooter , and another crossbow, all of that would save up and easily beat the round aswell! ( Without discount village ) Possible without monkey Knowledge

2 of 2-4 snipers and 2 of 2-2 monkey with a monkey village before that to reduce cost also works, i just tried it, i have no military knowledge points or the extra 200 one but this works regardless.

As of update 28, Elite Defender cannot pop lead. So, i present another strategy that is sorta viable.
Place down a 402 Heli, a 204 bomb, and a 024 sniper. Might work, you can adjust it if needed
EDIT: CAMO LEAD!! Make it a 420 heli instead

THANKS! This worked on expert map flooded valley, but instead of upgrading Quincy I got a couple 2-0-2 subs to cover the track, Quincy got his level 10 at round 50. Quincy was on a pontoon too.
I finally got this to work on Workshop, just had to use the extra track map switch on round 60, leaked down to 66 lives prior to round 60 on the MOAB level though

If you cant afford that, place 2x 0-2-4 sniper targeting first and 1x 2-0-2 targeting strong or instead of 2-0-2 sniper put 0-3-2 bomb thrower targeting strong.

You can always place down 4 0,2,3 monkey aces together and then place I believe a 4,0,2 alchemist. Guaranteed to take you up to round 63
@superjombombo I think this video should be corrected, honestly. Sniper can't pop lead balloons and ends up choking in the early 30s. 0-0-2 Village, 0-2-4 Sniper, 4-2-0 Alchemist gets the job done.

I just do 2 full auto rifles. One with heavy caliber on strong and one with camo detection. I also add a spike factory
You can Also be THAT guy and use double money mode
instead of getting a elite sniper in version 18 get a portable lake and put a monkey buccernerr in it and upgrade it to a 0-4-2 and still have the full auto rifle with camo decect

You did geared towards the end. You forgot Workshop, the hardest map for sniper
The best way to beat deflation is using sniper 5-0-2 in strong, sniper 2-4-0 in first and last one it's just because of caution spike factory 3-0-2 in close Only woks in 1 exit maps i dont make in anothers maps +2 exits

Something that I don't think most people know is that the elite defender (not including past upgrades) is the cheapest 5th tier tower in the game even cheaper than the ultra juggernaut
Nope, Monkeyopolis and Elite Sniper are both cheaper.
Monkeyopolis is at minimum only $5k, and Elite Sniper is $13k on Medium vs Elite Defender's $14k.

It should still work though. He has 150 left after getting elite defender. The cost of a sniper on deflation is 285. As the MK reduces the price by 33% you save exactly a little bit less than 100 money's, meaning without MK you still have just enough money.
Maybe you need the extra 200 starting cash?

but you’ll need military conscription, advanced logistics, insider trades, better sell deals and more cash.
After some deflation grinding, I don’t think this strategy works on Pat’s Pond, too many obstructors. 2 024 snipers might work, but I didn’t test that. If anyone tries that, let me know. Sniper still works great for it though
