You don't need any handling when paired with lucky pants with the passive 100 handling. For PvE, max the hell out of range ideally: -hammer forged/extended -tac mag/appended (tac will be the better option when adept mag has zero stat penalty) -enlightened action, max stacks after 2-3 bursts, which buffs reload -vorpal is the only no brainer here Ideally a range masterwork for the best possible LP hunter roll
4th times the charms and vorpal all day for lucky pants and accurized rounds with range master work is good roll. You’ll get the extra 2 rounds for every 4
@@nickysats for non lucky pants for sure, but more bullets in one rotation for more damage during the window of lucky pants is huge . Reloading during the buff is a huge waste of dps But aside from that I agree enlightened is great
This is NOT the best roll if you're using Lucky Pants, as they passively grant you 100 handling to all hand cannons and a 0.6x ready animation duration multiplier. Using those barrels and a handling masterwork is just a complete waste of stats. Also, since the Lucky Pants damage buff only lasts 5.5 seconds, the highest amount of rounds that you get out of a 257 HC in that time is 24. So you can either use an adept mag mod to get to exactly 24 and use accurized rounds for more range, or you can use tactical mag and a backup mag mod to get 24 with extra stability and reload speed. And while 4thTTC looks good on paper, once the buff runs out after the 24 rounds, the extra ones you got will be doing very little damage compared to with the LP buff. So using something like perpetual to hit more buffed shots or demolitionist to get more grenades isn't a bad idea.
I came to the same conclusion now that adept big ones is gone and the only good choice are back up mags but I think the only choice in the first column should be enlightened action. Perpetual only gives you a small stability bonus since lucky pants gives you max handling and enlightened gives much more reload. and personally I would never use this for ad clear so demo wouldn't be the play either
In raid fully buffed on my hunter with lucky pants and wardens i was hitting 98k every two hits toward the end half of the mag melts everything and run with dragons breath
