Nothing can compare to the rush of pulling into a spot of water churning like a washing machine, and nothing will be as frustrating as casting right through it without a bite. This week, BDOutdoors Pro Contributor Nate Winicki covers some of the most effective artificial presentations such as poppers, stick baits, surface irons, and metal jigs to show you how and when to use them so you can be successful on your next mission to pull a few fish from the foam. Nate is the man. Super knowledgeable dude and gives great recommendations and advice.
Couldn't agree more! Let us know if there's anything else you'd like to see him cover.
I don't fish from a boat I love Pier fishing 🎣 and surf fishing but seeing these big bait caster combo and lure is amazing 👍
Awesome! Not impossible to catch a yellow from the local pier or jetty!
Nice Job Nate, Very direct and to the point!
Thanks!
Great video. Very informative with lots of great explanation on all the options available. Please keep them coming.
Thanks! Let us know what else you'd like to see!
ya did very well and thank ya for information on what kinda rod to use 😅😅😅😅😅
Good info
Cheers, thanks for tuning in!
Great info without pushing a particular brand. Can you do the same video for bait fishing tuna? Got worn out elbows and shoulder to be slinging jigstick.
Thanks! What exactly about bait fishing would you like him to cover? Nate has a few articles on the site that might be helpful to you as well! Check this one out: www.bdoutdoors.com/fishing/offshore-fishing/offshore-finesse-fishing-a-guide-on-light-line-tuna-fishing/
First String is slept on. Best mono out there for slinging irons. Is that a 40 or 60g Zakana?
The one in the video is actually a 100 gram jig. Depending on the size of the bait, we'll generally start with a 100 or 130 gram size which is much easier to cast than it's smaller counterparts.
@@BDOutdoorsdotcom awesome thank you. Tight lines!
When there eating two eyes and a wiggle use a clear poperw with mylar dressed asist hooks also works with clear spook and pencel type lures 😂
A go to for a lot of anglers!
This is exactly how i fish except with spinners.
Can't beat it the artificial lure bite!
