I believe she genuinely thought it would be a great moment for NYers. She just didnt read the room well, and it ended up looking ut of place. It reminded me of people who propose at someone else's celebration. It caaan work, but it's also weird to try to make someone elses moment about yourself. She's changed and grown and that's all that matters.
And no other NY artists was on that stage. So she didn't really have a cue from anywhere. She just got in a head space.Cause if she performed with them before I could see her feeling to go up. She was just young and not trained.

I lost mine at 22 and it was brutal not having someone who loves you and has your best interest not being here on earth anymore. People who abused me as a kid swarmed me after she died to do something they couldn't do when she was alive because she was more important than all of them put together.

I'm proud of her. I didn't see what happened first hand I only saw it on social media later. I'm glad to see she bounced back and didn't allow the negative to hold her back. I think she's a beautiful and talented woman, not just in looks but in mind and spirit. It's hard to stay strong after the loss of a parent.
